My truck rocks now its speakers and whole system is great

Clean looking and excellent sounding. Easy installation.

Right out if the box the CD player did not take a disc. I don't know if best buy bought a bad batch of this model of receiver. I returned it , had to buy another deck. It was sent off for repair. The receiver has been in repair for 2 weeks it was due back yesterday day. My question for best buy is why carry this brand when alot of the pioneers have problems after installation. I was informed by the best buy installer of this. I wouldn't have bought it . The have a JVC with 4.8V preouts for 80$. That's amazing sound quality for 80$. I would steer clear of the pioneers at best buy. Kenwood , Sony, JVC.

The sound quality of this radio is excellent, as is the Bluetooth processing of my cell phone's reception. The receiver has many features packed into a compact unit (1 Din), actually more than I will probably ever use. The one distraction I found was the process for setting the "Pre-sets" through the software; it was somewhat convoluted and tedious. Never-the-less, a good value for the money.

Unfortunately, this radio was not of the quality I expected from Pioneer. Controls were difficult to navigate.

I have a classic truck and wanted to upgrade the stereo without looking too hi-tech. This Pioneer gives me everything i wanted to upgrade too with keeping a classic design. Great job Pioneer!

Like the different screen colors and has nice sound

Love the bluetooth feature that's the only thing I have used. It's pretty loud after I messed with the settings. Has alot of options which is awesome

I have Sirus for the 1st time. Have 10 favorite channels

Awesome unit and great features. Only down fall is syncing Bluetooth can be a pain

Best Buy did an excellent job of installation and I am very happy with my radio.

I bought this for my mom as a surprise, because her car radio/cd player completely died on her! The best part of a car is playing music! So I reacted immediately and had Geek Squad install this receiver in her car without her knowing of course. I had brand new Pioneer speakers installed too by Geek Squad. They installed everything very fast and professionally! She loves the multi color display options! She loves that the screen tells you who your listing to on the radio and cd player! The receiver is very high end looking and looks great in her Honda CRV. She was so happy when I brought the car back home, she had no idea lol

I love this stereo, I've had it for 8 months and have had no problems with it. Forsure read the book otherwise you will have issues! It's easy to switch modes, set your presets and turn it off. I'm pretty sure it was just my car, but it was hard to get it to set up.

I bought this head unit to replace an X8600BH, which is a slightly older Pioneer model at the same price point. The X8600BH was a good head unit, but had serious QC problems. The first one I bought was DOA, and the second one broke after about two months of use. Luckily I had a protection plan and they gave me store credit towards a new radio. Unfortunately, the new radio I chose was this X8700BS. The X8700BS has some nice features. The physical layout is nice. The BT paired easily with my phone and worked well. The three preouts and dedicated subwoofer control are useful if not crucial for a good system. But all of that is irrelevant when the CD player sounds so bad. Tinny, thin and unbalanced would be a good way to describe the sound quality. For nearly $200, a single DIN receiver should sound much better. The previous Pioneer I had sounded way better, and had HD radio to boot. I figured this would be a comparable replacement, but I was wrong. If you're going to spend around $200, do yourself a favor. Search for the Pioneer DEH 80PRS and order it to be shipped to your house or to your Best Buy location. The 80PRS is one of the most widely celebrated audiophile quality receivers available, and it's not that much more money than this one. Best Buy wants $340 for it, but you can price match with Newegg and get it for $250. Then you'll have one of the best sounding receivers ever made instead of buying this awful sounding unit and regretting it.

Wish the usb and aux were on the front but much better than comparable alpine.

This is so user friendly and easy to view, even with light directly facing it.
