    I am again disappointed with this Plantronics Voyager. It sounded like I was in a tunnel when talking with others on the phone. I also heard a lot of background noise on my end. Returned this and am happy with the response from my local Best Buy store regarding their returns procedures.

      In order to get the best fit and sound we recommend that you try wearing the headset on either ear and also try using every included ear gel size (s, m l). Using the optional foam cover might also help improve the fit and sound quality. Plantronics

    Purchased the VL on 9/1. I liked it so much, I decided to exchange it for the newer model 5220 (I figured the newer model must be better!). Well, I tried the 5220 for almost a full day and other than for the aesthetics, to me, it didn't justify the $30 bump. (I'm sure if you talk to a Plantronics representative they will use their electronics-evil-spell jargon to convince you. lol) Anyway, a day later, I returned the 5220 for the original VL. I reiterate, it's not that I didn't like it, it's just I didn't feel the "upgrades" were worth the additional $30. I am very happy with the VL. Sound is adequate. Everyone hears me clear. Love the "answer or ignore" voice command when receiving an incoming call. The on/off switch bar is great (I don't have to wonder whether my device is on or not. The volume control lever is easily accessible and you can glide it up/down smoothly. Connects to my devices with absolute breeze. I wear reading glasses and I am able to have both things over my ear with no discomfort. In all, I am very pleased with my FIRST EVER bluetooth headset. If you boxed me into a corner and demanded I gave you one thing that would make the VL better, I would have to say the volume. Hope my review helped.

    This product loses conection constantly. Wir not charge unless perfectly level. The charging cords are only 10" long. So will not charge without something to level it up with that short cord.

    I had a different plantronics headset and it allowed me to say "answer or reject" when a call came in, this one doesn't give you that option even though the info on the box says you can.

    Most of the time people can't hear you or you sound muffled. If you turn your head it disconnects from iPhone. Not sure why it got such high reviews. Will be returning.

    Not good if you are looking for comfort. Poor quality sound it's was my 3rd different earpiece, I thought if I spent more money I would get better quality I was sadly mistaken

    This product here at very hard time connecting to a galaxy phone and when connected the connection was very poor was a nice piece of gear but had to return it

    Went through two Bose in a year. They no longer produce them, and basically told me "too bad" it fell apart. The Plantronics is so superior to what I had used before. For me, it is very comfortable AND secure, even with glasses on. The clarity of sound is fantastic. It holds a charge forever and comes with a car and indoor charger. I have no trouble sending or receiving text messages completely hands free as well as calls. It has the feature of announcing the caller and providing the option of answering or rejecting calls verbally. The Bose did not. The Plantronics is an exceptional value. The Bose cost $159.00 and was very inferior.

This model should take ~90 minutes to receive a full charge, the LED should flash red or blue every few seconds while charging and it power completely off once fully charged. You might want to try connecting your headset to another charger or powered USB port and ensuring nothing is preventing the cable and headset's charging connector from making proper contact.
