This USB-C to Ethernet Adapter seems to be well-made. The cord is flexible, yet doesn't feel too flimsy. It also seems to be well attached to the unit. The USB-C male end fit into my tablet like it should. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an app for my tablet that used the device that seemed to be legit. I thought that I'd found one before I bought this device, but when I tried to use it with the app, nothing happened. I tried a couple of others and same result. So, I can't say for sure if the device works properly or not. I'm keeping it in case a future laptop that we get has USB-C instead of USB-A ports as I currently have a device like this plugged into our laptop and it works well for bypassing the faulty built-in ethernet port.

I work for a lighting an audio company, and we’re only allowed to use apple brand adapters for our MacBooks because we have had other brands consistently fail on us, especially during a gig. All except for this product. This one has lasted as long as, and worked as good as, the Apple version.

I brought this for $20. I was a bit skeptical about how well it would work at first. However my skepticism has vanished. This ethernet adapter has been working flawlessly with my HP Spectre laptop. No problems with speed at all. Direct connection is faster then a wifi, which is my primary reason for buying this. I will buy another in the future for my other devices.

Got this for work and home use. Although Wi-Fi is very good these days, wired will always keep a more stable connection and Laptops today lack Ethernet ports(with exception of gaming laptops) I highly recommend having one of these if working from home and a stable connection may be critical in getting the job done without risking wi-fi drop offs

While wireless is almost universally available, as an IT professional there are times when I still need to jack in to a physical port. Platinum products, for me, have been very reliable and I've never had a problem using them with Mac OS. Not to mention, they are almost as pretty as Apple OEM!

The USB-C Ethernet Adapter works great! I needed a direct connection to my Spectrum internet to get an old printer added for my laptop. It kept timing out on the wireless connection and I do not have a ethernet port on my laptop. It worked perfectly!

Have Google Fiber and needed a 1 gig ethernet to get the most speed out of it. One I had said 1 gig before this one but got not more than 400Mbps. This one gets 950Mbps. 350Mbps Wi-Fi. So, it does what I need.

Works perfectly to connect MacBook Pro (2019) with USB-C (also called Thunderbolt-3) ports to ethernet. No driver or software required. Note that the Apple Thunderbolt-to-gigabit ethernet connector is different and won't connect to the Thunderbolt-3 ports. Confusing enough?

Great little budget adapter that works really well!

The perfect ethernet adapter every Mac user should have in their bag. While I almost always use WiFi, there have been a handful of occasions where I needed to physically plug into a network. This adapter has saved me a handful of times already. Would definitely recommend!

The minimalist design of the MacBook Air means that one needs adapters in order to make the best use of the available ports. This works perfectly—and is good to have on hand for those times that one needs a hard wired connection to the Internet.

Bought a Thunderbolt to usb-c adapter by mistake and exchanged for this, worked great for setting up my router. Maybe should have looked into a multi port hub, but the price was right for this adapter & it worked well for what i needed. No drivers needed to be downloaded, worked straight out of the box.

This was a life saver! Most laptops now a days don’t have a E port unless you have a desktop. We didn’t have one, just a laptop. My wife needed one for her job and Best Buy came for te win!

The HP ENVY I purchased does not have an Ethernet port, so this adapter was needed. Our area does not have the greatest wi-fi reception, so a direct Internet connection is the best resolution. This adapter works great.

I used it for the first time last night to run a test for a WFH job and it made my laptop run as if a desktop with real good results being connected to the Ethernet cord to make my laptop hard wired.

This adapter worked as promised on all devices that I may need it for. I also helped me verify that my internet speed has nothing to do with the Wi-Fi system I use. I now know my service is to slow no matter the connection by I am able to connect devices that don't a net port built in.

This was very easy to use and set up. It was just what I needed for my home computer and my work set up.

I purchased the adapter for use with a MS Surface Pro that has only USB-C / thunderbolt ports (no other ports). The adapter allows me to connect an ethernet cable directly to the "Surface" PC. Adapter works great!

Semi-convenient way to have ethernet access to a USB C tablet or phone. It may take some configuring (turning off mobile data, etc) to get it to connect, but once you get past that it's a handy device to have.
