The sound is really good, although I haven't been able to test it in a large room yet. It was extremely easy to set up and the interface is really good. I plan on purchasing additional speakers once I move into my new house.

this is my second speaker as I also have the smallest one - the sound on the 5 is wonderful, with much more bass than on the smaller unit.. I have it in a large room and it fills the room with spectacular sound

A few weeks ago I had no idea what Sonos was. And after going through several competitors I stumbled onto Sonos. Incredibly clear crystal clear tone. Very easy to use iPhone app. All in all a great purchase!

We love this system. One is hooked up to our main amplifier, but the other four are their own speakers. Same music throughout the house. The larger the speaker the better the sound. Easily moved outdoors.

Very cool how it works. It's not the easiest setup but very worth it!!! Sounds amazing , small and worth every penny!! Just wish I could afford another one and another filling my place with sonios..

Love my new sonos speaker Inwill be purchasing 2 more for other rooms in my home the sound is so incredible and so great that you can control them from iPad or iPhone !! Well worth the money!!

Have each variation of the speakers and love them all. I use this speaker in a larger room and it has great sound. Sonos in general is an great easy way to have music throughout your home

Great sound. Easy to setup and the ability to control the speakers from your phone or computer makes it super convenient to listen to different songs in seperate rooms.

Really pleased withy purchase. The sound quality is great and streaming music from the web (I stream Pandora) is a breeze. All this controlled with an app on my IPhone.

The quality is probably that attracts me most. It is versatile and the sound reproduction is superb. I now look forward to adding additional units to my house.

The Play 5 is a little pricey, but delivers very good sound and is easy to operate. The sonos system has many options for use.

This is my second Sonos device, excluding the Bridge. I purchased the Sonos Play 3 a few months ago. A single speaker cabinet cannot rival a stereo or home entertainment system, but still the quality is of the Play:3 is very good and the Play:5 even better for casual listening. We, also, use the units to listen to teachings that we have saved on our computer. We listen to Pandora nearly every day. The quality of the products are excellent and are solid, nothing cheap or flimsy. Incredibly simple to setup and control. Incredibly simple to quickly make all of your computer audio files accessible to the Sonos system. Great to control each unit individually or sync them to play the same source. Love the free apps that are available for our Android phones and our iPad. If not cost prohibitive we would have a unit in every room, but do plan to add more units over time. One of the best technological systems available on the market.

The sound is very good, almost theatre quality. I've only had two problems. The first being that my speakers would randomly stop working about 3/4 of the way through a movie. This problem was fixed when I opted out of the beta test mode under setting, and turned on auto play. The second problem was getting ahold of customer support. The first time I was on hold for about 30 minutes before giving up. The second time, they had programed an option to enter a callback number and keep your place in line. After about 4 hours I finally got a call back, and he was able to resolve my issues. The only other thing that is an inconvenience is the volume control is on your phone. Over all, the product has worked well, once I figured out the issues. The sound quality is very good. The speakers are designed well and are not an eye sore like some speakers are.

It's a fact, when you buy the first Sonos speaker you can't wait to get the next one, there's no better way to have music everywhere in your home, all the music services are together in one place and ready for you to choose, you also have access to your own library of Amazon music if you have one. I bought this Play 5 to use it as a portable speaker when I'm working in the garage or outside in the backyard, the bass reproduction is pretty impressive for such size, especially if you go to settings and adjust the equalizer, I have all 3 sizes and they require different adjustments but it's undeniable they ALL sound great and if you buy them in pairs the stereo sound is even more satisfying. Kudos to Sonos for a great product, I only wish they weren't so expensive. By the way, Pandora sounds even better with the paid subscription to Pandora ONE, no commercials, more variety and music from the artist you want to hear plus higher streaming quality with less digital data compression for more realistic sound. Run to the store and get ONE or a PAIR these holidays.

At the time when I purchased the Sonos5, info available was rather confusing on what was need to make it work at home. Well, it's so easy...basically plug it in, follow a few prompts and it's good to go! Just the one benefit of not having to rely on Bluetooth makes Sonos worthwhile. Sound quality is very good. (pairing with a second phone or tablet is a mess...but call Sonos customer service and they walk through it). Overall a great item!!

I ordered the white Sonos Play 5 to use with my turntable at home & love it. The fact that I can stream music off of my phone is a great bonus, and the app is very easy to use. I ordered the "open-box" one they had available & it was in perfect condition. I had to call their customer service during set-up & they were very helpful, had me set-up in less than 10 minutes. I can't wait to add some play 1's to my Sonos system!
