I already have a number of Sonos components, Play 1, Play 3 and Play 5 as well as the Sub Woofer and amps and bridges. This unit was purchased to add Sonos to my living room (primarily as background music). This is a great addition to my system. A sidefeature of the Play 5 unit is that it also works great outside in the yard when entertaining. If your going wireless this is the best way to go!

This is the top of the line Sonos speaker. it has a wonderful tone that fills the room with crisp clean music. I also love that it has an input on the back that you can plug a mp3 player or your phone into and play music into the Sonos echo system.

This Wireless (WiFi) speaker is very robust, producing a wonderful sound that projects throughout the entire lower level of our home. This is the best wireless speaker that we have ever purchased and, much better than the Bose!!!

The SONOS PLAY5 speaker is my first and only speaker, but it definitely won't be my last. I can't wait to add some play 1s and play 3s to my collection. After doing my research, I choose the Sonos brand and I couldn't be happier.

Bought this wireless speaker to enhance the music library on an IPad. The sound is incredible! It was so easy to download the free Sonos App and connect the IPad to the speaker. The chosen songs can be lined up for play and the volume range goes from low to a pleasing party high. I cannot stress enough how much better the sound quality is using this Sonos speaker. I didn't know what I'd been missing all this time! I highly recommend this speaker to anyone who appreciates listening to music.

The Sonos system sounds great in my house - The rooms aren't particularly large, so a single Play:5 in a room is perfect. I found this Play:5 as an open box special - and it was white, so I got it to put up on a fairly high shelf in my kitchen. I have 2 other Play:5s in nearby rooms, and when I have 2 or 3 turned on the music is wonderful. I take one out on my patio in nice weather, and it fills the back yard. The system is flexible, easy to set up, and gives you so many options for music and radio.

I LOVE THIS! While visiting a Best Buy store and inquiring about bluetooth systems, the salesgirl introduced me to the Sonos. It was on sale for $299, which included the Sonos Play 5 and Bridge. Honestly, I did not think it was something I'd keep once it was set up at home. After barely ten minutes out of the box, my music was playing. No wires hanging all over, great sound and effortless when it comes to choosing a playlist. I could sell this system door to door, that's how much I love it.

We love our Sonos Play 5. We have it in the living room, and can hear it in the kitchen and family room. It was easy to set up and we have been pleased with the variety of music we can play on it!

So happy with this SONOS system. I came from a very expensive Onkyo and Polk setup and to be honest I don't hear much of a difference. The software and zones are amazing, highly recommend.

I bought my first Wifi music player about 5 years ago & it was the Logitec Squeezebox. The Squeezebox was good, but pales to comparison to the Sonos when it comes to sound quality. The setup was quick & easy. You can play music directly from your phone without having your computer, unlike other systems out there. The only other feature I wish it had was Bluetooth audio.

Absoluttely love the Sonos Play 5! Great sound with good clean bass, nice midrange and overall great tonal balance! Very reliable connectivity via wifi and Sonos app for iOS works great!

I Love this little guy! and I have added a Play:1 to my system and plan on adding a few more for w whole household connection. The sound is very rich and the wireless option is too easy...

The quality of these speakers make it one of the most enjoyable purchases I have had in quite a while. They were so easy to hook up that I actually got them working within 10 minutes.

I have always been a fan of Sonos products and now have five separate zones set up in my home and outdoors. The last zone that needed sound was my master bedroom, and this compact unit is a perfect application in my case. I didn't want to install an additional amp and speakers, and although I was hesitant to use an all-in-one for music (major audiophile here), the sound quality has surpassed my expectations. The only negative that I would point out in this age of energy conservation awareness is that this unit doesn't appear to have an auto on/off feature that a lot of passive subwoofers now have. Which means that the unit remains powered on all the time since I'm too lazy to turn it on or off, and want to hear music the instant I select a song from the Sonos app on my iPhone. Otherwise, I have been very pleased with this unit.

I bought this speaker for our family to be able to use in different rooms and even outside on our patio. This delivers a great sound and has plenty of power to fill up a large room.

This is really a super solution, especially if you want to minimize your life a bit. I have my iPhone and use it for EVERYTHING. The Sonos can start the moment I walk in my door and I am at home...nice after a busy day. Quality of sound is impressive. Small, and tidy, and clean and neat- no extra cords, or mess. Portable but why? Fills my 1600' home well!

I bought the SONOS Play 5 because they were the right product with the right features and size for my needs. They sound great. They are easy to set up and I can continue to expanding whenever I get the urge. I like that you can group different zones together or play different music in different rooms. They are other wireless/bluetooth speaker solutions out there, but SONOS had everything I was looking for when the others fell short.

We have a series of these speakers throughout the house... and this one is great for using as a standalone system. We use it in our work out room and the sound is big!

Its capacity is truly amazing - the sound technology within is hard to believe given the quality is so good. I would have given it 5 stars but I found the set-up to be a bit more arduous than originally expected, though that could be due to user error. Would certainly recommend and it fills a large size room with good sound easily.
