Simple to install...works great!

Turned off system, removed the three 2GB memory sticks, installed the two 8GB memory sticks, powered up system, OS now happy with it 16GB of memory. No issues.

Good product at a reasonable price

Selected this product, after having read good reviews from someone installing in similar HP, and it matched my needs and price range. First Memory package I received turned out to be defective. After two trips to best buy, I convinced them it was the RAM. They exchanged it, and I'm off and running. Make sure you get someone who can instruct you correctly on installation. Installing is easy, but on HP desk top, you have to match the color coded slots correctly.

Defective Product

I normally have not had a problem with PNY memory, but this would not pass the computer's memory tests when installed and caused continual blue screen memory dumps. I had the memory checked by a computer repair shop and it was determined to be defective. Item could not be returned because I was outside the return timeframe.
