I share a lot of files (pictures, video clips, genealogy data, etc.) with family and friends. I used to use CD's and DVD's for this, but these flash drives make the job so much easier. They are smaller and more convenient to carry around, and you can buy them with storage capacity that CD's and DVD's will never be able to compete with Also, they are much easier to reuse. Yes, you can buy rewritable discs, but they are a lot more work. They can also be used with portable computers that come without a CD/DVD drive (which appears to be a growing trend). PNY is one of the better brands on the market. I've used dozens of them and never had a problem. If you watch for sales, you can get them at a reasonable price.

It has good storage capacity and it is easy to use. Great for backing up important documents and files.

I do taxes for many people each year and this item allows me to store their last years file, and then next year I can retrieve all of their tax information and not have to retype their basic info or where all their receipts come from and all that basic info also. I then keep it off site as an additional backup.

Inexpensive and easy to set up and use even if you are not tech smart. I use this device to store my movies to loan out to friends and family. Small and portable but plenty of space to hold 15-20 movies

Not only do I trust the brand but I have found it necessary to carry around a thumb drive. you just never know when you'll need it. a drive with enough GB room is something you'll definitely need, I promise you that.

I needed to send a lot of files to a family member. I ordered this flash drive online and chose in store pickup. This is a great flash drive for the price. I placed it in some bubble wrap and an envelope and had it in the mail the next day.

I have found numerous uses for this product, shared photos and documents and the ability to move data to my PC that has continuous backup availability. Having lost photographs in the past this is a great way to avoid this happening again.
