It's a flash drive that I needed to store photos so I could put them from my desktop computer to my laptop. It is the appropriate size and works just as it should.

I use this flash drive mainly for school, so far so good. Note this is only 8Gb, so not a lot of storage space, but you can always buy higer Gb ones. Worth a try.

Just needed a basic thumb drive for some game files on a xbox360. This did the trick and we have had no issues. Plug it in, format, and you're done.

This is an affordable USB drive, with sufficient capacity for all of my needs. The "cover" slides back, exposing the USB plug. I would prefer a cap to cover the end to keep the dust out, but this is not a major issue.

I needed a flash drive to download an update for my smart tv that was unable to connect to my home wifi. It did everything it was suppose to do.

I like to take a lot of pics. With the PNY 8 GB, I can store a lot of my picture. ThenI can use my digital frame and show my pics when I have visitors.

So far works as it should, and it was a bargain. My only complaint is that the retractable cover tends to stick at the halfway point - I'm not fond of this design. Still, it's storage media and it works.

This was purchased this for our son who requires it for use with his tablet. We specifically looked for a USB drive that had the sliding cover -- any cap would eventually be lost by most people. PNY has been around for a long time and we have been satisfied with the qualities of their products in the past so the decision to go with this product was a quick one.

Compared to other brands that have failed within a few weeks, this brand of thumb drive works well for me; my go to brand for now on!

I was planning to buy another USB drive (same brand 16GB) due to the on sale, but they sold out, then I pick this one, and like I said, it does it`s job well, don't have any issue so far.
