This drive was installed by the Geek Squad in a old HP desktop top give it a new life. The boot time is reduced considerably. So far, so good, I think I am going to be really pleased with this solid state drive.

I purchased this for my desktop pc so that I could dedicate a hd for games, and this guy is perfect for just that. It's reliable, fast, and comes in at a really competitive price. I would definitely recommend.

The best upgrade for desktop pc. Boot up in less than 7 secs. Shut down in 5 secs. Websites and applications open up very quick and my pc feels like new again. Highly recommend especially at these prices

I obtained this solid state drive because it was priced approximately $25.00 lower than other similar drives of the same size. The removal of the old drive with that of the new drive was easy and intuitive

Simple install, faster than lightning! Cloned my older 250GB Samsung SSD, restored and expanded on this drive, no problems, glitch free, and goes like lightning! Now have the Samsung SSD for a data/backup drive.

This drive replaced a standard drive that was failing. The machine is running Windows 7 and this drive has worked great since installing it. The boot up times and loading programs is noticeably faster.

The PNY SSD 480gb was very easy to install as well as installing a image copy of my old hard drive on it prior to installation. Has been working flawlessly and the speed is as expected. Good Product.

Reliable ssd no problems so far. Windows 10 boot up in about 20 secs with a fresh install. Comes with acronis drive cloning software making transition from old drive to new a breeze. Highly recommended

Honestly this is like the 8th SSD that I get from Pny, and none have fail me, the speed and reaction time of your computer will dramatically change with this drive... I'm planning to get a 960GB for my workstation no matter what computer you have MAC or PC this will do it as the best Upgrade, in case you already don't have an SSD drive... You don't need a New Computer, Just an SSD Drive and at least 4GB of RAM, depending on your use... If you are not sure about it, get a price match and go for it... don't be cheap, this will save you time... I guess I don't have a 100% full experience yet. I don't use my laptop as much as I used to. Anyways I did have a little bit of a hard time installing it, but I'm blaming it on not being able to get the entire back off my laptop. After changing my hard drive from an HDD to an SSD I've been able to do things a ton quicker. An example was that I was in a select class and it had been a while since I had restarted my laptop so it was extremely slow with the poor internet. So I went to restart it and for turning it off, and back on took almost the entire class. After installing this it can do that in like 30 seconds to a minute rather than 5 minutes for off and 5-10 for on.

This SSD was for my son's home-made desktop PC. He needed something that would give him decent storage and speed. So far this has worked way better than a tape drive. Good price for a good SSD.

This is the only card reader/transfer info item you need. Pictures on an sd card? Put it in this reader to transfer to you Computer. micro sd card? Same thing. Pictures, data, documents, etc. any type of storage device you have, works in this reader. Exactly what I was looking for.
