Had to replace my smaller SSD, so went with this PNY 480GB drive. Working flawlessly and is 4X the size of my failed Kingston. Great purchase at just the right price.

Swapped out the older 5400 rpm hard drive for this SSD drive in my MacBook Pro and it now runs as fast as ever. The price was very reasonable and install was a breeze.

This SSD is the best update for a computer. Priced rite and a lot of space. Very fast response time at boot up. If you want to make your computer run faster, get one of these.

My original 116GB SSD filled up quickly and so I bought this larger 480GB SSD drive to take its place. Too many software manufacturers still don't offer the option of installation of their programs on a drive other than C, so until they do, having large SSDs for your main drive are almost a requirement. I've had this PNY SSD for about 3 months so far, and it performs flawlessly. Transfer of my OS (Windows 10) and programs from the old C drive to the new went without a hitch, but I did not use the online software offered by PNY. The PNY 480GB SSD is a reliable drive. You'll be glad you own it/

Dramatic improvement from my old HDD. But it becomes a little hot after some intensive data transferring -- even hotter than my HDD installed in parallel on my Thinkpad P50 laptop, but not hot enough to burn my finger tips. I don't have enough experience on other SSD brands, so you buy with your own judgement.

Bought this and some (16 GB) memory for my 2011 Mac Mini. This little unit now has new life. The boot time is minimal. Love SSDs! I trust this name brand with my data.

I replaced my HDD in my ASUS Laptop. It was easy to install. I use Carbonite, so Backup retrieval was slow, but it was a lot faster with the SSD. The performance is great.

I bought the stop replace a 5 year old hard drive in my Mac-Pro . I migrated my OS and Applications files although 480G was but small for this. This requires a 3.5 to 2.5" SATA adapter to use on a Desk top Mac but my initial installation just used duct tape and it worked.

I use it to replace upgrade a MacBook pro and now it's flying! Performance was raise almost 10 times, now boot in a blink of an eye! An excelent choice for the price.

This is my second PNY SSD I have installed on laptops, and they are solid - less prone to failure, and saving/retrieving docs is ripping fast. Good price.

There is a significant speed difference in booting up my laptop and also in opening programs. It was super easy to install. The software that they recommend in the instructions did not work for cloning my hard drive, after purchasing the right software it worked perfect.

Have been upgrading several PC's from HDD and these drives are not only readily available, but at a terrific price and performance to Boot!

I cloned my regular drive, had no problems when I installed the SSD in my laptop. Runs flawless.Reasonable price compared to other brands.

Installation was as easy as expected. The included Acronis backup software made it possible to move my entire old Windows system drive over to this new SSD fairly painlessly. A RAID array setup through Windows 7 drive manager had to be recovered and setup again. If I had to do it again I would backup the array ahead of time in case the worst happened. My overall feelings on it are that it was a good price on a fast and so far very stable drive. I have it installed in a home theater PC system that I have up 24 hours a day.

I never used a PNY Solid State before, it performs well and does its job. Computer is super fast loading and opening programs now. YAY!

Quick read and write speeds simple installation, works as advertised. due to its slim height, it will work where a slim hdd is needed.
