Beyond that, stop waiting and start enjoying a new level of performance on your computer that you didn't realize was possible (without spending $1000+ for an entire new setup...not necessary!). If you only have a single HD that this will replace, you can use free software to transition your setup from the old HD to this new SSD. It couldn't be easier as it is an install, 3 clicks, 60 minutes of your time and you're set!

Fast And Slow - All in one pkg

It increased my Startup/Restart Times by 10x Fold which was the longest part of my mornings beside waiting for the coffee to brew! -The Bad: although my computer can access files faster its nowhere as fast as my original HDD at writing files and viewing thumbnails. Plus I get artifacts on my loaded/loading/transferred thumbnails (ex. Sometimes shows no image with and x above it...Weird) -More Pluses: It loads all my Applications in no time flat which is the selling point for me because my Adobe products alway took FOREVER TO OPEN in the past. OVERALL... I'd Say Buy it.

Exactly what I was looking for

I bought a hard drive enclosure separately as well to help clone my existing HDD to the new SSD. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the PNY SSD came with a license key for Acronis True Image software, which made the cloning process extremely simple. After 1 week of use, I've been happy with the new SSD and enjoy having the old HDD in the separately enclosure for routine system backups.
