Very Good MLC SSD Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade my 256GB 850 Pro SSD and wanted a replacement that had similar specs and thought I found it with this SSD, but even after reading reviews and looking at the specs, performance wise, it does not come close to the 850 Pro even though according to the specs, it should be faster. Also, the only software for this SSD is a Firmware upgrade application - so there is no app like magician to help speed it up. If I was looking to purchase another SSD, knowing what I know now, I may have not purchased it. I just hope that it makes up for its lack of speed and application that it is durable and lasts as long if not longer that the warranty since it is an MLC SSD. It is not a bad SSD if you are going to use it as a secondary drive, just not a boot drive.
