I recently upgraded my computer's storage with the PNY CS900 1TB internal SSD, and the results have been nothing short of impressive. The 2.5-inch form factor makes it a seamless fit for most desktop setups, and the SATA III interface ensures a straightforward connection to the motherboard.
The standout feature of this SSD is its substantial 1TB capacity, providing ample space for documents, media files, and more. The read/write speeds of up to 535/515MB/sec. deliver rapid file access and storage, significantly boosting my computer's overall performance.
Installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design and compatibility with standard desktop configurations. The PNY CS900 SSD has proven reliable during my daily use, and its efficient data transfer speeds have noticeably reduced loading times for applications and file transfers.
The sleek design and durable build quality of the PNY CS900 add a touch of professionalism to my system. Whether you're a casual user or a demanding professional, this SSD offers a cost-effective solution to enhance your computer's speed and storage capacity. If you're in the market for a reliable and high-performance internal SSD, the PNY CS900 1TB is certainly worth considering.

I knew it was coming. The hard drive was old and It took forever to do anything. So I got everything valuable off it to the cloud and waited for it to die.
The keyboard was failing too - time to toss it? Nope, this hard drive and a keyboard from Logitech and it was back in business. And a *lot* faster too.
Once I had the case open to get at the hard drive (countless tiny screws!), replacing it was easy. About 4 screws, slide it in, put the case back together, done, maybe 15 minutes tops. Hey, if you're like me and your laptop doesn't work anyway, what do you have to lose?
I had a cheap set of small screwdrivers and they're the only tools I used.
The worst part will be reinstalling an operating system, especially if it's Windows - can't give details here because things change, but if you don't want to have to buy another Windows license you have to be careful. I installed a linux flavor and the whole thing was done a few hours later for only the cost of the PNY drive (already had a keyboard, maybe you do too). Yes, I'm omitting many details about the OS installation, but it's probably easier than you think (Ubuntu has a highly automated process, and you can even try it without installing it), and when it's over you have a rejuvenated laptop that you might have had to scrap otherwise.

After dealing with loading times in minutes, the hard drive on my HP laptop was replaced with a PNY SSD. My computer boots up in seconds now. Customer service could not have been better. Price was reasonable and done in less time than estimated. I'm enjoying my computer for the first time since I purchased it.

Runs windows great.
Don't know about Linux.
If you're wondering if it will run good on Linux sorry I can't help with that.
Also if your computer gets slow after a few months of use for windows.
It's not the SSD its windows.

I've only recently begun using some PNY drives. I've been familiar with the brand for years, but just tried their SSD's. They drew me in with a nice price, and I believe they'll keep me with performance - because so far, I'm impressed. As a PC tech, I've used several since purchasing the first here, and I'm having great luck with them. If the price stays nice, and I don't see breakdowns, these will continue to be my go-to SSD's.

I picked up two of these on sale to replace a couple of older HDDs. The transfer speed is a major improvement over the HDD. At the price, I recommend it. An affordable way to upgrade older drives/improve storage.

It's crazy how much faster this SSD drive is compared to the original HDD drive. This is the second PNY SSD drive I've purchased and couldn't be happier.
The process of upgrading was relatively easy, but took many hours.
Here's the steps I took:
- Downloaded free cloning software
- Cloned the old HDD drive to this new SSD
- Removed the old HDD drive from my laptop and replaced with the new SSD
- Re-installed windows (chose option to keep my data)
- Re-installed programs I wanted/needed
All the time was worth it. The laptop is over 4 years old, but it works BETTER than new now. I can now boot up in about 11 seconds - it's so fast.

Quick and easy to install, no issues. Drive seems fast enough for me and the price was good. It doesn’t include any hardware so you’ll need your own, but that wasn’t an issue for me

Used this to replace a hard drive in a friend's laptop. The old hard drive had become so slow that it made the computer almost unusable (Took 2-3 minutes to boot, opening programs like Matlab took 5+ minutes). Since this was the same capacity as his old hard drive i was able to simply clone the drive then physically swap it with this one and it was up and running like a whole new machine. This won't be the fastest SSD out there but it is a great option to breathe new life into any machine that's still using a hard drive.

Bought the 1tb PNY SATA solid state drive for my girlfriend’s PS4 Slim. The drive was easy to set up and was booting the PS4 operating system within 5 minutes of swapping out the old drive. It runs very well and has reduced the loading times on God Of War by a good 50%. The PS4 also boots up and downloads updates considerably faster. If you want a solid, affordable SSD, this is a good choice.

Had the internal ssd sata put in and was unbelievable how much faster my computer loads up and reacts to my commands. Should have done a long time ago.
