No problems after 7 months of using, useful for gaming

PNY never failed me! Good as always especially the performance. I only buy PNY or WD.

I put in MacBook Pro. It work great. No errors. It a good hard drive.

Purchased this 2TB ssd when it was on sale for expanding the capacity in my PS4 Slim. When on sale its a cheap great buy since most of the time ssd's of this capacity tend to be pricey.

2TB SSD used for pictures, video and music storage died in less then 1 year of light use, never even reached 50% full.

I originally thought that this would be a “bang for your buck” purchase. It was very inexpensive but I guess you get what you paid for. From the go I couldn’t data migrate to the PNY SSD unless I purchase their software. I looked for a free software that would work ( nothing did ). If I would have bought the PNY software it would cost me more than the other SSDs I was looking at. So it didn’t work at all for me. Returned immediately and bought a SAMSUNG SSD which worked flawlessly. PNY is bad terrible will never buy any of their products.

Horribly slow reading and writing to it. Ran a test to a standard external hard drive that took about 50 minutes; Then ran the same test using this ssd. It too 2 1/2 hours. Returned unit and replaced with a Samsung. Ran the test using the Samsung, Test took about 28 minutes

It is liberating to go from only a crammed 900 GB HDD to gaining a whopping 2 TB for the variety of questionably-large games in my library, which now load faster too. Just remember to get a SATA power cable! Installation should be pretty easy.

Good drive, fast, easy to install and fits into a small space. Shipping was fast, received on time and well packaged with no defects. Should last a long time. I'm old school and prefer high capacity disk drives for storage. I had too many digitalis blow up on me. This drive is a tad too big for an OP drive. For those two reasons I couldn't give it five stars.
