    Pretty disappointed with this product. I used this USB to store recording footage from a blink camera. The video resolution it stored isn't that high and there wasn't much motion to capture. It was working fine for just a few months before the drive completely died out of nowhere. I didn't want to bother with warranty so I'm just left with a dead USB. The free Microcenter USB that replaced it has outlasted this drive which is the ultimate insult to this drive. That drive is also only 128gb and not 256gb like this drive was.

    Formatted the flash drive NTFS and use it to take some movies with me on vacation. USB 3.0 speeds up the file copy function for large video files. Easier than carrying a bunch of DVDs. Right price for my purposes and fast.

    I haven't used this since the Geek Squad had to use it to take everything off my hard drive, but it served the purpose and allowed them to fix the problem with my laptop, so I'm satisfied.

    This product is ideal if you need to backup you Mac quickly. I installed a new ssd to an older Macbook but I needed at least 80gb for the Apple time machine. This thumb drive had everything done in an afternoon. Easy to format for Windows or Mac. Enjoy

    The price was right, and I also had a BestBuy coupon to defray the cost more. I am using this to backup all of my documents, music, etc. A word of wisdom. Turn ON BitLocker from your Windows 7 & up. It will password protect your files. So if you manage to lose it, your files are secure.

    Skeptical about USB 3 but got this on sale .. first time I used it I was hooked.. had to transfer pictures and music to another laptop and moved 40 go very fast. The cover or cap is not the best I've used.. would rather have some other one.
