And the 9070 has 16 GB of VRAM so it is likely more future proof and can handle higher resolutions better. Just depends on whether you can find something of reasonable value in this market... I also got a bit of coil whine when mine ramped up but that's probably at least in part due to my older, weaker power supply, so I wouldn't base a purchase decision off of coil whine in reviews.

The card arrived in 2 days. It is a 3-fan version, so no danger of overheating even in long periods of gameplay. The video signal is clean and stable, no problems with my 3-monitor setup. At 2.5K the Final Fantasy tests show an impressive 18.8K score.
