This card delivers amazing performance at under half the price of the 5090! Great card unless you, for some reason, need more performance. Something to keep in mind is that higher end 50 series cards are really big and heavy, so make sure it fits your case. This specific one includes a sag bracket, which is nice.

Really love this card. An OC card for MSRP that runs great! It boosts to around 2900mhz. The fans are also very quiet on performance mode with stock fan curve. It only has some coil whine, but that's easily drowned out by speakers or headphones. Would definitely recommend. It was a good upgrade from an RTX 3080ti.

Works perfect in every game, quiet and sleek in a non- RGB build, it is very big though so make sure it will fit in your case

Honestly a really good and well made gpu for the price, although I got a bit unlucky. I ended up getting a card with coil whine but it doesn’t bother me much, other than that it keeps really cool and the performance is fast and smooth. The design is mesmerizing as well

Amazing Card. I heard mixed reviews about how compared to its previous generation, it wasnt an upgrade or worth the price, cant tell about that. however for those like me coming from older cards, its a huge improvement i highly recommend AT MSRP, i dont think you should get a 5080 no matter how better cooling or in looks it is, if it is over its msrp. to put it simple, it is a $999 card but fits better in the low 900 range imo, i think people would be more enthusiastic about this card if it had a $929.99 pricetag. Definitely worth it if they add freebies like the Bordelands 4 game, sadly i got it right before the bundle, so i wouldn't miss that. Haven't had any issues since i bought it, its quiet, i barely hear it, and for the smaller case i have it in, its not getting as hot or warm as i thought itd get. If you really want one, this one is great, if you want looks, wait for them to drop in price or wait for the super variants and hope they stay the same price. you wont regret it if you do your research and budget for it, just make sure youre patient its big purchase, do your due diligence. look at 50 youtube videos about it.

Very nice GPU. Very big GPU.
This PNY card runs very smoothly, and very quietly as well. Under 100% load, 4k high + DLSS this card tops out at around 100-150 fps, for games like War Thunder and Arc Raiders, and the fans barely make a noise. LoL gets upwards of 500fps but that is normal. A little scary putting this card into the motherboard because the metal shroud of the display ports is very long, and protrudes into the case just behind the motherboard, at first I thought my NZXT h9 could not fit the card.
I am NOT using the included daisy chain cable, instead using the rm850x provided 12v cable, hopefully it does not melt.

This card is top of the line. Great performance. RGB for this price point would have been better but cooling performance is great. Really quiet operation and stays below 54 degrees celcuis for sustain loads.

What can i say? This graphics card just works great. I havent noticed any noise at all. Maxed out all settings in poe 2 and usually sustain 120+ fps (2k resolution), its dropped to 80 fps on occasion but i think its a game optimization issue. Battlefield 6 maxed out i ususlly sustain about the same fps or more. I like that there arent a bunch of lights as well. I paired this with a core ultra 265. Awesome build!

Significant step up from the previous generation. Runs cool and quiet with the triple fan setup. 16GB of VRAM handles everything I’ve thrown at it. Worth the upgrade if you’re coming from a 30 or 40 series card.

The PNY RTX 5080 offers a compelling options for gamers wanting to get access to the new 4x Frame Generation features exclusive to the 50 series Nvidia cards. It not only offers great performance in both rasterization and ray tracing gaming, it also stays extremely quiet and cool (never exceeded 68c while gaming) due to the robust heatsink/cooling design PNY decided to go with this card. Being that this card is priced exactly at $1000 MSRP I don’t have many gripes with this card, other than not having any RGB (but that’s a personal preference). I would highly recommend this card to anyone looking to pickup this option as a nice upgrade to their systems. It absolutely rips through any task you throw at it, even a bit of AI if desired without pulling a sweat. Honestly can’t go wrong with this card, given that other RTX 5080 offerings essentially offer the same exact thing but end up costing 50% more
My only gripe with this card individually is that is only has a total of 16GB of GDDR7 of memory instead of 24GB or more VRAM. That’s not a fault of PNY but rather Nvidia themselves as PNY or any board partners don’t have access to modify the VRAM on the card. As well as how massive this card is, but again that’s due to shear amount of watts this card can pool if you let it, I wouldn’t fault PNY for that.

I previously had a 4080 ventus oc from MSI. Both that card and this are pretty similar in terms of looking plain and simple. I have to say I prefer the all black stealth look of this card vs the ventus. It is big, though, but it honestly runs decently cool (never above 65 for me) and at MSRP, you just can't beat it. All the other 5080s just have things you don't need for the extra price, and even if you don't get a golden sample, this card still easily over clocks at least 10% with a click of a button.

In love with the PNY 5080. Coming from a RTX 4060 is game changing and with this model actually being MSRP really helped me decide which one to get. I enjoy the low temps and quiet fans when under load. I was also impressed with how far I could push it in 4k.

I upgraded to this card from an RTX 3080 after switching from a 1440p monitor to a 4K 120Hz TV, as the 3080 began to struggle with the higher resolution. I stumbled upon the PNY 5080 and, seeing it was available at MSRP, decided to pull the trigger.
The performance jump is amazing. I did run into one initial issue where the display would disconnect and the fans would spin up to 100%. A quick investigation revealed it was my power supply; while the wattage was sufficient, I was using daisy-chained PCIe cables for two of the three connectors. Once I switched to a new power supply which has a dedicated port for the 12 pin PCI plug, the card ran perfectly.

Works as it should, super fast paired with amd 9800x3d. Overkill and ultra settings on every game I’ve tried and still getting 200+ fps at 2k. No fancy frills but it’s not needed. The metal backplate and large cooling fans make this worth it especially at msrp

Upgraded from a 3080 TI, now my processor is my bottleneck, it was an easy drop in replacement. Looking forward to pushing the limits with this new card. It does not have any LED lights, so visually it isn't as nice as other options, but it is OC'd and came at a great price.

Had this 5080 for about 3 weeks so far, and it's impressed me! I have this paired with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d since I have 2 1440p monitors and a 4k TV, and even when I have 4K VR running on it, still runs pretty much butter smooth. Switched over from a 4070 Super and it's a very noticeable performance spike. Was very fortunate to get this for NVIDIA's retail price of $999, so for the money, this is fantastic. Always either had Gigabyte or MSI GPUs, but PNY has pleasantly surprised me, they seem solid.

PNY's one of the few brands that are actually holding to their MSRP prices, and for that price it's very good. The cooler is extremely well built and keeps the card very cool even at low fan speeds. It's also well supported by the 3 slot bracket and doesn't have any sag at all.
The base factory overclock is much higher than other models for those that don't want to delve into manual overclocking. For those that do, the cooler will handle maximum power overclocking with only a few degree difference in temperature.
