The PNY GeForce RTX 5080 16GB OC GDDR7 is hands-down one of the most powerful graphics cards I’ve ever used. From the moment it was installed, it transformed my system into a true high-performance machine. The jump in speed, smoothness, and visual clarity is unreal. The 16GB of GDDR7 memory makes everything feel instant — 4K gaming is buttery smooth, and demanding workloads like rendering and AI tasks run effortlessly. Ray tracing performance is stunning, delivering lifelike lighting, shadows, and reflections that make games feel immersive and cinematic. The triple-fan cooling design is a standout feature. Even under heavy load, the card stays remarkably cool and quiet. Zero thermal throttling, no intrusive fan noise — just consistent, stable performance. The factory overclock out of the box gives it an extra performance edge without needing any manual tweaking. Plug it in, install drivers, and it just dominates everything you throw at it. On top of all that, PCIe Gen 5 support future-proofs your system, ensuring compatibility and maximum bandwidth for years to come. If you want elite-level performance, rock-solid cooling, and a premium, reliable GPU, the PNY RTX 5080 is an absolute powerhouse and worth every penny.

This item works great. Plugging it in to the PSU was hard and required a lot more force than normal but it runs great and runs everything you would expect at high frames.

A decent card for the original msrp

Overall a good card for the actual msrp. Looks cheap compared to my old asus 3090 but the cooler is huge and it runs cool. The elephant in the room is the massive price hike this card just experienced. I wouldn't be buying this for 1400 .There is simply no way I would participate in this current market cycle. The 3090 was still holding its own just fine. That being said I feel lucky to have this and hopefully it will get me through a few years.

I upgraded to this card from an RTX 3080 after switching from a 1440p monitor to a 4K 120Hz TV, as the 3080 began to struggle with the higher resolution. I stumbled upon the PNY 5080 and, seeing it was available at MSRP, decided to pull the trigger. The performance jump is amazing. I did run into one initial issue where the display would disconnect and the fans would spin up to 100%. A quick investigation revealed it was my power supply; while the wattage was sufficient, I was using daisy-chained PCIe cables for two of the three connectors. Once I switched to a new power supply which has a dedicated port for the 12 pin PCI plug, the card ran perfectly.

No issues. Performs at or above promised specs. PNY does not take advantage of the scarcity and adheres to the original MSRP. I’m a fan of the brand now for life. Quality on par with other bigger name card manufacturers. A+

got the PNY GeForce RTX 5080 16GB OC at MSRP and it’s been excellent. Performance is outstanding for 1440p and 4K gaming, with smooth frame rates and great ray tracing thanks to DLSS. The triple-fan cooler keeps temps low and stays fairly quiet even under load. Build quality is solid, and the factory overclock gives a nice boost out of the box. No flashy RGB, but I like the clean black look. Overall, an amazing card for the price if you can get it at MSRP.

    PNY RTX 5080

I was waiting to get an NVIDIA RTX 5090 FE to restock but once the PNY RTX 5080 restocked at MSRP, I decided to pull the trigger on the 5080 instead GPU run about 20C cooler than my NVIDIA RTX 3060 did which is great. It's not as loud as i thought it would be since it has 3 fans. My case fans are louder than the GPU when i turn them up to max airflow. I'm able to play games at Ultra settings and get much higher FPS than I did with my NVIDIA RTX 3060 at High settings. I haven't Overclocked the GPU because I haven't needed to. I get over 200 FPS with the default settings and using DLSS @ Quality performance. I also haven't used the 3 or 4 multiframe gen either. Just default settings. Runs like a dream. People hate on PNY but honestly, if NVIDIA chose them to replace EVGA, then I knew the GPU was going to be a quality purchase and so far, it has been a great upgrade. I also upgraded my CPU from the i5 12th gen to i9 12th gen. So far, my CPU & GPU have very minimal bottlenecking, if any. Games and everybody else run so much faster with my upgrades.

Amazing Card. I heard mixed reviews about how compared to its previous generation, it wasnt an upgrade or worth the price, cant tell about that. however for those like me coming from older cards, its a huge improvement i highly recommend AT MSRP, i dont think you should get a 5080 no matter how better cooling or in looks it is, if it is over its msrp. to put it simple, it is a $999 card but fits better in the low 900 range imo, i think people would be more enthusiastic about this card if it had a $929.99 pricetag. Definitely worth it if they add freebies like the Bordelands 4 game, sadly i got it right before the bundle, so i wouldn't miss that. Haven't had any issues since i bought it, its quiet, i barely hear it, and for the smaller case i have it in, its not getting as hot or warm as i thought itd get. If you really want one, this one is great, if you want looks, wait for them to drop in price or wait for the super variants and hope they stay the same price. you wont regret it if you do your research and budget for it, just make sure youre patient its big purchase, do your due diligence. look at 50 youtube videos about it.

Finally a card at msrp value. Was looking for an upgrade and finally something that is reasonably price. Zero RGB which is a plus depending on personal preference. Comes with a magnetic gpu support stand. Runs reasonably cool at least for the games and resolution I play at. Only con is how "recessed" the 12Vhpwr connector is. This means you cant really use those 90 degree custom cables or purchase any 12Vhpwr monitoring devices. It is also a triple slot card which is kinda big considering most cards are 2 slot now.

Amazing at MSRP, 1440 for super high refresh rates or 4k if you need to read text with an OLED. Easy undervolt to drop wattage by 50-100.

What can i say? This graphics card just works great. I havent noticed any noise at all. Maxed out all settings in poe 2 and usually sustain 120+ fps (2k resolution), its dropped to 80 fps on occasion but i think its a game optimization issue. Battlefield 6 maxed out i ususlly sustain about the same fps or more. I like that there arent a bunch of lights as well. I paired this with a core ultra 265. Awesome build!

Very nice GPU. Very big GPU. This PNY card runs very smoothly, and very quietly as well. Under 100% load, 4k high + DLSS this card tops out at around 100-150 fps, for games like War Thunder and Arc Raiders, and the fans barely make a noise. LoL gets upwards of 500fps but that is normal. A little scary putting this card into the motherboard because the metal shroud of the display ports is very long, and protrudes into the case just behind the motherboard, at first I thought my NZXT h9 could not fit the card. I am NOT using the included daisy chain cable, instead using the rm850x provided 12v cable, hopefully it does not melt.

This card has honestly been great so far, runs super cold (it doesn't break 55c in most shooters and barely high 50s in 4k high setting games). Not sure why PNY has a weird rep but if** you are able to get your hands on this card you will not regret it. The only thing I have noticed is that it has a slight whirl sometimes but it is quite faint and isn't there all the time, if you are really sensitive to sounds from your pc you may notice it but I barely hear it even with no headphones on. It is quite a large card so make sure you got the room for it !
