I purchased this power pack for a long road trip. It was perfect! Didn't have to worry about my IPhone or my kindle fire to run out of power!!

This battery pack is a 10 Amp-hour unit, and it can recharge my Galaxy S4 about 3 full recharges and a partial charge. Given the cost, it was a good value in $/Ah. I really like the fact that there is a digital display of exactly how much capacity is left in the battery, and it works during both discharge (charging a device on the USB) and while charging the battery. It took about 10 hours to refill the battery from 0% using the ~1 Amp AC to USB power plug from my Galaxy S4, but it can take as much as 2.5 Amps if you have a higher power source (and presumably it will charge more quickly). There are two USB ports for charging, one that can charge at ~1 Amps for phones and one that can charge at up to ~2.5 Amps for tablets. (it can also charge phones at a lower rate). The battery is recharged buy plugging a micro-USB cable into the charging port. The battery comes with one micro USB cable that you can use to charge it, or to charge a device with micro-USB. there is no AC adapter, you have to provide your own. It would have been a 5 star product if it would have had build in micro USB cables, and 6 star if it had both USB and Lightning.

Over all Quality is Excellent, the LED provides you with immediate state of charge. Ensure is is fully charged at 100% to ensure multiple charges of your cell phone/tablet. I traveled from the US East Coast, to Europe and back. I never charged the unit. It supplied me with enough charges to last a month going down to 2%. Charging my devices was quick, with enough of a charge to ensure 20 to 70% battery life, depending on what I was doing with the cell phone/Tablet. The 1amp charge USB will not charge a high powered smart phone/tab. Use the 2 amp USB for those items. Charging the Power Supply was quick and painless. Easy to carry, the USB identification is hard to read, Ensure you know which one to use for your device.

The craftsmanship of this charger is impressive. It is very well made. It can charge 2 USB items at once. I Am able to charge a iPhone 6 completely 5x on a single charge. The well lit display is awesome. It tells you exactly how much energy you have left, how much energy is currently being taken in or how much you are putting out. I am very pleased with this product.

This is a great little battery pack. The screen with percentage and the amount of charge is better than having just a series of 4 lights like a lot of these devices have. At first I noticed a little glow from the screen when the device is off, that I thought was a defect, but I notice that even if the device isn't used for week hardly any power was used, way less than 1%. The only downside I can see is it doesn't auto power on when you plug in a device or auto power off when that device is fully charged. I carry this with me in my backpack as a backup for my Nexus 5. It charges it multiple times.

I have owned several battery packs in the past and been disappointed in all of them. most of them lost power when not connected to anything.and when I went to use them they were dead. The PNY holds its charge incredibly well. I had a full charge (the led showing percentage of charge and capacity is very helpful) I charged my Galaxy note 4 from 15% to full and my watch from dead to 100%. The PNY had 87% capacity left. I did not use it for 4 days and when I turned it on again it still had 87%!. It is also nice to be able to charge t things at once, and the large capacity is great. I have not had to use more than 50% of the capacity through 3 charges of my phone and 5 watch charges. It is also fast to be recharged, less than 1 hour from 50% charge

This external battery is great. It charges my iPhone 6 very quickly and also charges it fully multiple times. I don't even use a wall charger for my phone anymore I just use this. It's digital display makes it very clear how much charging it has left.

i work outside so when I get to an area where there is WIFI my phone jumps from WIFI to 4g so my battery drains really fast. so I plug the power pack to my phone and keep my phone in my pocket and it charges in about 45min to an hour. As opposed to plugging my phone to a charger and leaving it behind. I also get about 5 charges in one fully charged power pack. I have a gs4 and my friends iPhone charges much faster. Great investment if you use your phone a lot and cannot leave it to get charged or your phone battery dies by mid day. much faster than wall charging.

This battery is easy to use and charges my phone fast. I use my phone for work so it is constantly saving my phone from going completely dead. Well worth the money and I don't go anywhere without it !

Don't run out of juice while on the road. Will not leave home without it. Charges quickly and only get a tad warm, charges two devices at once (used for phone and tablet).

This item holds its charge for a long time. It recharges phones and tablets and takes up very little room in my purse. It's price point is well below competing models.

This was a replacement from our first one that stopped working. Staffs at Best Buy were really helpful. It was a plus because the price was lowered. We just didn't get a brand new replacement, we saved few bucks as well. What I like about this product as it has a screen that shows how much battery life it has and charged your phone fast. It's very handy. It's not too big or too small. It's perfect!

I've been wanting to purchase a battery back up for our iPhone for quite awhile now, and now that I finally did, I'm so glad I made this purchase!!! We live up on a mountain subdivision, and during winter weather, we frequently lose our power. This fits in nicely, and it's portable for for on the go charges as well. It definitely does what it says! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I frequently attend big cruiser bicycle ride events for fun and charity. Seems like my phone is almost always dead at the end of the night after taking photos and posting to Facebook. So, I bought the PNY - ID10400 PowerPack USB Portable External Battery. I have charged my cell phone and even those of a friend or two with no problems, and there is still some battery power left over. I really like the display that shows you how much charge is left. I don't own a tablet or notebook computer, so I can't comment on how it works to charge those types of devices.

I used this power pack for an extended motorcycle trip (8500 miles) to extend the life of the smart phone I was using. The Tracking app on the phone ate the phone's battery in less than 6 hours. Connected to the power pack it would function all day and only deplete the power pack charge about 35%. The unit is small enough to be hidden in a small fairing compartment along with the phone (Samsung S-4 Mini). Great product!!!!

I was able to recharge my Galaxy S6 twice before needing to recharge this thing! I was also able to charge my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition to 78% with this thing. It also allowed for me to charge 2 different devices at the same time without a decrease in the charging rate. I love this thing!

This battery back is a great addition for anyone who spends time away from a location with a power outlet. It has two USB output ports. One of them has an output of 1 amp and the other has an output rating of 2.4 amps. I can charge my phone 3.5 times before I have to charge this device again. It does take almost two hours to charge my phone, but it is available whenever I need it.

The PNY Power Pack does exactly what it is supposed to do. It charges almost anything--any type of cell phone, iPods, iPads, Kindles, wireless speakers--almost anything. It has enough juice to charge six iPhones that might have 15% battery left. It holds its charge if left alone for a week. It can charge two devices at once, although one port is quite slow, while the other is quicker. I often charge the most urgent device on the faster plug, then switch the second device over to the faster plug. Handles any plug from two USB ports. Gives an accurate readout on amount of capacity still left. All-in-all, a great buy and an effortless resource.

This is a great external battery. Was able to charge my phone and my wife's phone from nearly a dead battery to full charge and only use about 30% of the power packs battery. It is also very compact and light enough to fit in your pocket.

I bought this to keep my Kindle and phone charged while on a two week trip. It was fast and easy to use. Because of its size I could even hold my phone and the charger while talking on the phone while charging. It has ports for two items to be charged. It would be nice if it came with two cables.
