This is an easy-to-use lock. My daughter moved away to college, and she is using this to keep her Macbook Air safe.

This was for a MAC that is being taken to school. This was the only option at Best Buy, It was touch to get the initial connection in place

My daughter is using this to secure her Mac Pro. I can't give a thorough review for this as I don't have personal use of it.

Works great for taking my laptop out into the world and keeping it safe.

This is basically a deterrent. The "lock" can be bent fairly easily so that the laptop could be taken. The price is quite a bit higher than the standard laptop lock, but it is the only one that BestBuy sells for MacBook Airs.

Ive never had a lock before so not much to compare it with. It does what it is supposed to do.

Our old HDMI cable had worn out (lower quality) and this replacement fixed the problem.

This lock works as advertised on my Mac. Glad I purchased it.

Serves its purpose well. Secures my laptop in the library when I am studying. The tumblers are take time to rotate to the proper sequence, not quick and easy.

Not so easy to use at first, had to go back to the store to have the sales person show us how to do it.

I wanted a device that will make stealing my MacBook Air more difficult. I teach in a classroom and often leave my computer on the podium as I go to help students. I would like a device to lock down my computer to the podium. There are not many devices like this for MacBook Air, so I was hopeful that this would work. When I tried to install it through the MacBook Air hing, it would not slide through smoothly. I could probably bend it a little to make it fit, but the metal parts touching the nice metal and glass surface of my MacBook Air discouraged me from doing this. Perhaps if the locking parts were coated in a thin plastic or rubber, I would take a chance, but it just would not fit through the thin space between the display and keyboard (the hinge) of the MacBook Air.

This lock was great because it was made especially for the MacBook. It can be used in a way that is non-intrusive and out of the way. I would recommend this lock to any MacBook user.

daughter going to college and had to have a lock for laptop. Price was right and recommended by salesperson.

It was difficult to install the tab into the MacBook Air . I returned it for a refund. I hope apple comes up with a better lock to use . I don't have anything else to comment on.

The first cable I've ever seen that doesn't have a customizable combination. I would not recommend it.

Looks durable but had to return it though. Trouble in trying to install it for a Macbook Air.

I had no problem like the other reviewer when it came to sliding the part through the hinge. It's actually quite easy....just takes a moment to figure it out. That's not where the problem lies. Not only can you not change the combination, but when you're directed by the instructions to the PNY website to store your combination on their site.....you will find that they offer the same item for $20.00 LESS than you just paid!!!!! That's insulting. Forget that for a moment. When you slip the part in the hinge....the piece doesn't come out of the back of the Air far enough to keep the HUGE lock from being out of the way! The computer can't lay flat ......ever...while the lock is in place! Very POOR design. Great concept.....insulting revelation re: price....and you are TOLD to go to a site showing you you just overpaid by $20.00...and it just doesn't fit. I cant use my laptop on an angle...propped up by a padlock underneath. Returned the next day. AVOID THIS FOR THE AIR!! I don't know if it works for the non-Air models. WOOF!!!
