Got to be the best Pokémon game I have ever played. The battle system, the difficulty of some of the missions. I like the fact you can see the Pokémon instead of just having a battle randomly start. Watch out though, wild Pokémon can attack the player directly!

I am an og Pokémon player starting on fire red. And this is definitely different in a good way. Refreshing

I havent purchased a new Pokemon game since Pokemon Red/Blue. I never saw the point as the games were all pretty similiar. Once Pokemon went full 3D, I was sold. Picked it up and have had a blast. Sure, there are some rough spots and definite room for improvement, but overall, worth every penny. Gotta catch them all!

I have already done multiple playthroughs of this awesome game. First Pokémon game in a long time that I found satisfying in all aspects. I understand it isnt the perfect RPG game but it definitely is a great step in the right direction for GameFreak

Seeing this style of Pokemon gameplay at first had me a bit skeptical. I personally think it worked though, as I've had a great time playing it. It's refreshing to have a new formula to Pokemon games that doesn't stray too far from its roots.

The best Pokémon game in recent years. Despite the graphics looking a tad ugly from time to time the game is extremely fun for new and old fans of the series. New mechanics mixed with a lot of the classic tropes you enjoy if you’ve played the other Pokémon games. Definitely recommend.

Honestly I went into this game pretty blind and man was I blown away. It’s a different perspective and way to catch pokemon that I didn’t know I needed but was glad I was introduced to. I would highly recommend this product.

The game was the best step Pokémon has taken for a long time. The graphics are not great but the gameplay loop is new and refreshing. It’s a fun game that feels much more fast paced than other Pokémon games. Worth the play through and money.

Gamefreak needs to make more games like this. A blast to play, you can get many hours of playtime out of this title.

I’m enjoying the game very much though it feels slightly repetitive in nature, mostly because the missions are very similar. There isn’t much that changes here. Also the NPC character designs are pretty silly and they tend to come off very annoying. I think the series would benefit from taking a more intelligent approach to character interactions. I wish I could leave the environmental music on and remove the battle music, or at least not have them tied together. The background music is great and some times very relaxing then you get involved in a battle and suddenly the relaxing music changes and now its loud battle music. So you can’t separate the volume for each since they are both tied to background music setting. The graphics aren’t bad but GameFreak really need to step it up and go to the next level. There is no doubt they are swimming in money with the success of Pokémon and the games they have done. So much more could be done here to improve the story, characters and graphics to be something really impressive.

This is the ultimate Pokemon game! It changes the formula but is also familiar enough to feel comforting. It looks beautiful on the switch too.

Great game starts a new era for pokemon with the open zone stuff they just need to make a new switch to run the stuff with better graphics.

This is a different outlook of pokemon and it is highly fun. It is somewhat different from the older pokemon games, but they added a fun change which I would recommend and play with a fresh set of eyes.

Completely different style of Pokémon and it’s amazing. Seen people complain it looks empty and all but its set way before gym leaders and HM moves and all . Its a great game definitely recommend
