I was first a little skeptical about the game since i never played pokemon go. I decided to get this game and try it out. I have not regretted it once. I love that you see what pokemon are in the wild and they are to scale with your character. I love that all your pokemon get shared exp. The game is a little short to be truthful. its very easy to obtain almost all pokemon in a single play through. Ive been playing pokemon for awhile now and this is the first game i actually completed the pokedex 100%. I recommend this for pokemon players of all ages..

To me, the best remaster for the best Pokémon game of all time. I hated grinding Pokémon as a kid and hate it now. I absolutely love the way you catch them in this game and love being able to see them in the overworld. It doesn't feel like a chore to play this, it feels fun. And that's what I want out of a Pokémon game. Highly recommend!

The game is basically the original series but with the added option of playing with a second player and being able to throw pokeballs with your remote. I have always been a pokemon fan since the 90's so it was very nostalgic to play. I havent had time to finish the game because of college but will definitely get back to it soon.

Bought this for my 2 kids (7&4). Great that it has a "partner" that can join and battle with the main character. So my 4yo could participate without feeling left out. Very basic RPG for the 7yo, with reading comprehension. They were disappointed in the lack of newer Pokemon, but still enough of them they know of.

My two boys are elementary aged and they have Pokémon cards. This was a natural progression for them to play this game on screen. I don’t know much about Pokémon world but it seems cute and age appropriate. It keeps them engaged for the few hours a week they get to play as a treat.

This is a great casual pokemon game. Keep me entertained for about 40 hours. There's a great post game (defeating the master trainers) but it's a huge grind. The Pokemon are level 75 so leveling up all your pokemon to 75ish can take awhile.
Seeing the pokemon in the overworld is great and I hope this transfers over to the main series. :)

This game is different than the original version in that you catch wild Pokemon by simply throwing Pokeballs at them rather than fighting them. All of the Pokemon in your party will also gain experience when you catch Pokemon this way. Overall the difficulty and time spent leveling up your team is drastically reduced.

If you liked playing Pokémon as a kid, you will love this. Now your kids can play the newer version of the Pokémon you used to play as a kid and you can even assist them as a supporting character. My son loves playing this and I help him battle and catch Pokémon. Definitely a great game.
Love this game-A Childhood Classic Brought to life

I played the original Pokemon Yellow when I was a kid many, many times, but this is definitely the best version I have ever played. The graphics are night and day different, but it makes the game so much more entertaining. They have also made a lot of quality of life improvements to make the game less grindy than it was 20 years ago.

So this game is very similar to the original Pokemon that we played on the Gameboy, with just a few differences like fighting team rocket.. Im really enjoying playing this right now and collecting the original 150. I'm hoping they will come out with an update or another game that will let you collect the more/ different Pokemon

So I haven't played Pokémon since yellow back in the day (last century!!). I'm 40 and decided to pick up Let's Go Pikachu! I am completely addicted to it. It is simple enough for me and my busy lifestyle but keeps me very entertained. I hope they make the sequel to this and let me bring over my old pokemon to make a huge pokedex!

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu is a remake of Pokemon Yellow, combined with features from the Pokemon Go phone app. The game is beautiful, especially when you compare it to the original and is a great casual Pokemon game for new people to the world of Pokemon. Not without its drawbacks, but plays wonderfully.
