I got this for my 7-year old and he loves the game. In fact, it has helped his reading improve since you have to read the text to know what is going on.

Too Much of the Same

I think it was too similar to the first Sun and had very little endgame content just like the first Sun. It is still a fun game, but it did not have a very long term appeal for me.

Christmas cheer

Pokemon for Two

They started with the basics and are very excited to start playing the newer versions. Both my kids have a 2DS and they are excited for Sun and Moon, so they can trade Pokemon.
