This game is a keeper. My daughter has already been enjoying this Pokémon adventure. It is easy to play yet holds her interest. Most of all, she says this character Eevee is one of her favorites. I would recommend for anyone to give as a gift.

I love Pokémon so much! That had to get this as soon as I got my first Nintendo Switch console. I love revisiting the places that were in Pokémon: Fire Red, Pokémon: Leaf Green, and Pokémon: Yellow on Nintendo Gameboy. Hopefully we can get 2nd & 3rd generations added into this game. :)

Bought as a birthday gift for my 5 year old son. While watching him play our 10 year old daughter couldnt look away and wanted to create her own profile for the game too. Then I enjoyed watching them play so much that I ended up making a profile too, and play it when the kids go to bed.

A retelling of the original PKMN games.

A faithful retelling of Yellow, with plenty of extra content. The lack of random encounters and battling wild pokémon is jarring for some, but for myself others it is a nice change. No endless Zubats in Mt. Moon, plenty of trainers to battle for experience (as well as getting experience for catching pokémon), and accurate sizes for all pokémon in and out of battle. As a long time fan of the games, I do not see the reason for hate. Next year we will get Generation VIII games, and hopefully, that will silence some of the naysayers.

Provides a fresh start to an existing franchise! Also provides a low barrier to entry for new players. Shiny hunting has not gone my way though..

As a fan of the series since the original Red/Blue/Yellow, this is the Pokemon game I have always dreamed of playing. I have not enjoyed playing a new Pokemon game since X/Y but this is easily the most enjoyable in the series. Also a fantastic introduction for anyone who has never played a Pokemon game or maybe got introduced by Pokemon Go.

It’s a remake from the first Pokémon game. Better looking game then sword and shield only thing that would annoy fans is catching Pokémon. You don’t battle then you just catch them. You do battle trainers to gain experience points. Great game none the less try it with pokeball plus.

Purchased for my girlfriend and she loves it. From what she tells me the game is closer to Pokémon Go rather than previous games. You catch Pokémon and fight trainers. You don’t encounter “wild” Pokémon from what I understand. The catching Pokémon is also very similar to Pokémon go.

I've waited a long time for a full featured Pokemon game to hit home consoles. It was well worth the wait! While this isn't a new game (it's a rework of Pokemon Yellow), it has a lot of the features added in later generations while also introducing some Pokemon Go mechanics making it a much better entry point for the newer or non-fans.

I don't know what everyone's been complaining about. I've played about 12 hours so far and it's been fantastic. It's like a combination of traditional Pokemon with some Pokemon go added to it. It's not complicated to get into or use. The switch is very intuitive and the game takes advantage of that setup.

This cute adventure taking you through Kanto with adventure is fun, but it's not a title that you NEED to play. The Pokemon GO catching feature, which is also how you gain exp, can result in you being incredibly overleveled down the road. It's definitely targeted to a much younger or newer audience. If you can get it on sale, like half off, then get it. Otherwise, just wait for the next Switch titles for a more proper Pokemon game.

Did you dream about having the eevee Blue chose back in pokemon yellow? Well, this is your chance to fulfill your childhood dream. I like to think about the lets go series as a bridge between veterans and newcomers. It simplifies much of the original formula but gives a new face to the good old 8bit kanto we have into our hearts. I am sure this game is not for everybody but if you are like me and have an illusion on watching the first region on sun and moon graphics, then this is for you.

Let's GO Eevee is all of the great parts of Pokemon without all of the complexity added in later years. It's a fantastic trip down memory lane for folks who haven't played since the Gameboy era and is rendered in beautiful high definition graphics with some nice new mechanics that remove some of the tedium of the older titles.

Awesome game! Remake of Pokemon Yellow version. The pokeball controller makes the game more fun and comes with Mew. It is the only way to get Mew! The version differences is simply just the pokemon that sits on your shoulder. Version difference pokemon are not a problem obtaining due to pokemon go app transferability!

My son purchased this and it looks like he's having a fun time playing the game. I like how you have to interact with the game like you have to make throwing motion to throw your ball and he's also is able to play with friends with an attachment. Fun times.

Basically a Kanto adventure with better graphics. Just got to Mt. Moon so far. I don’t like that you cannot battle wild Pokémon. You just catch them as if you’re playing Pokémon Go. I suppose that makes the adventuring a little bit faster. Your Pokémon do get exp when you catch a wild Pokémon, so it works out.

So much fun playing through a Kanto region game again. The graphics are amazing and a lot of the new features make the game extremely enjoyable. I’ve never been a try hard at the game so not having abilities is fine with me. Recommend if you want a fun game just to get into without really looking to play competitively.
