Excellent game for kids and adults
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this game for my 11 year old son for Christmas. He played for hours the day after Christmas. He likes to rush through the main story on games then go back and do the side items. The main story only took him a day and a half but he is still having fun trying to collect them all. He doesn't play his DS with the 3D turned up if playing for extended period of time but the game still looks great!

Best Pokemon Game Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid Pokémon player I was worried about the announced changes to the standard formula. It turns out that the changes are for the better. New movement modes eliminate the need to carry an HM Pokémon in the party. An early warning lets you know when you are approaching an active trainer. There are side quests making this even more of an RPG experience. Highly recommended.

Thoughts of a PoGo player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game certainly exceeded my expectations for a console-type Pokemon game. I had only played PoGo prior to this title. Highly recommended for its depth, however I cannot compare them to previous console games. I cannot see why this game would not appeal to and make happy those who have played previous versions. This game makes PoGo feels empty in comparison.

Generation 7
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokémon Moon is very well optimized for the 3DS. The Z Moves are a very welcome addition to the game along with the Allan Form Pokémon.

Great entry point for a new comer to Pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Pokemon game, I have played earlier versions Red,HGS and BW but this one takes the cake. The game play is fun, the battling system and Z moves are great. Get the game you won't be disappointed, it is also a great entry point for new comers, I think they did a terrific job for someone picking up their first handheld and Pokemon. Get the Game!!

Breaks some conventions. Also the intro song is...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compated to previous entries, there are no longer Gym Leaders, instead, Island Trials replace them. You don't walk on a grid/tile system anymore, HM's are replaced by "Pokemon Ride". There are LOTS of Pokemon which make different combination teams fun to experiment with. The song/music that's played when creating your character and the intro scene does NOT know what kind of song it wants to be and doesn't fit that scene at all to the point that its comedic. Overall, this game is by no means bad, its great, but it's definitely somnewhat different fron previous entries.

Best latest pokemon game of the year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gen 7 pokemon has arrived and its better than ever! New pokemon, new region based on hawaii, and even alola forms of previous pokemon. My only gripe with the game is that once again the post game isnt very much, and alot of the new pokemon suffer from having a poor base speed stat. Other than that, its a fun adventure that will keep you on your toes.

Old is new again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started playing Pokémon back with the release or Red and Blue and after a couple of generations lost all interest. With the release of Sun and Moon I decided to give it another go. With a mix of some originals and some interesting new Pokémon, I've been thoroughly impressed with Moon. I chose the obvious underdog, Popplio, and love her. #teampopplio

Best Pokemon yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The latest Pokemon game takes the same formula and adds just enough to make it more user friendly: Type-Effectiveness rating in battle SOS chaining for shiny pokemon Festival Plaza This one has something for new players and veterans as well. If you're looking to make the jump from Pokemon Go to a real 3DS game, this is a good jumping-on point.

Best Pokémon experience to date.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So excited to give this game to my sister as a gift. All of the pokemon mechanics from the older games are present, and somehow the new games do not feel stale or held back by keeping all of the old systems. Most new pokemon have lower speed, which helps keep the game balanced, with no pokemon being "broken". Can't wait for the next in the series!

The series just keeps getting better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been 20 years since Pokemon first started and the games are just as good now, if not better, than they were then. In Sun/Moon they changed up some of the mechanics of catching Pokemon, some items, and traversal means and they are all good changes. And with this new generation VII games, they added yet more Pokemon, now totaling over 800!

GOOD JOB NINTENDO!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After X and Y, I thought to my self, "Pokemon's really burned out now. They aren't really coming up with original Pokemon anymore". They barely created any new ones for Sun and Moon, but they completely changed so many of the mechanics that it felt like a refreshing change. The only thing I don't like is the design of the Team Skull grunts.

Nice change of pace
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty good improvement on the previous 3DS Pokémon entries (X and Y) and doesn't suffer from the frame rate issues. It's also a fresh take on the story, which was long overdue. Gyms and their leaders are out in favor of a light, approachable story. The quality of life improvements are appreciated, especially the memory feature, which keeps track of which moves are strong/weak against other Pokémon once you use the move on them. It's a sure thing for any Pokémon fan, and may even change your mind about the series if it's never managed to hook you.
