Its Pokémon. Its great! The overworld is super cute with chibi characters designs. Pokemon reboots just don't miss. If only the new games would remember their roots.

I was always a fan of the original gameplay of Pokémon games. 8 gyms. Elite 4. I don’t need all the super powers to make your Pokémon mega or anything. While I’m not a fan of the Pokémon contests you can partake in at least it’s optional and not necessary. The underground is pretty cool and while making a base is somewhat pointless it’s another thing to do. Ive spent 30 hours playing so far and will put more into it. For $65 after taxes thats just over $2/hr. Pretty cheap to have fun

Good graphics and gameplay. Would rather play the original pearl but, I’m a little old school.

Decent graphics, this is a fun game that can be played friends. Playing friends can make the game easier. You can replay after you beat the game as the elite four are significantly stronger. The gym leaders can be replaced unlimitedly.

Love the series and love this remake as it remains true to a lot of the original Diamond And Pearl. Pretty fun to play and so nostalgic with updated graphics.

I loved it. Even with all the bugs and flows, it us a fun game thar stays true to the original Pokémon games.

Whether you are a nostalgic player or new to the world, this game is a classic and a great experience on the switch.

Solid game without any bells and whistles. If you are wanting to re-live the original experience, you’ll enjoy this game. If you are looking for an enhanced version with new content, you might be disappointed.

So far a very good remake. This game keeps to the same artistic style as the original games, while improving graphics, user friendliness, and overall compatibility. I am only about half way through the game, but have spent roughly 30 hours enjoying it. There is hours of additional playtime through the improved Sinnoh underground exploration. Definitely a good gift for any child or child at heart.

Great game! I haven't played this game in a long time. The underground is also better than the last one. Recommended.

I'm fan of its series, the gameplay brought back some nostalgia feels of older hardcore type of game, which I was missing in some of its latest releases of pokemon, AND it is 1000% better than sword and shield for those, who hated the game for its obnoxious Dynamax battle and for its region and left a bad taste to play pokemon again, trust me its better in this one.

So much fun. Brings me back to bring a kid again. Cute graphics and updated gameplay like let's go Pikachu.

Purchased for my nephew for Christmas gift. He loved it. Said it was fun but difficult, (he's twelve).

Pokemon Shining Pearl is a nice remaster of a classic DS Pokemon title. Shining Pearl features a lot of the classic look and feel of the original title but with some current remaster techniques for a modern console. The overall visuals keep the original look and make the overhead sequences look as if you are looking at figurines of your childhood. All around this is a fun game and an experience worth playing through even for a second time.

Pure pokemon comfort food. Felt closer to the games i grew up on rather than the new generations.

Another great game for the Pokemon series. Keeps interest high and waiting for the next one!
