I initially purchase both the tomtom spark cardio plus music and the polar a360. After one day with the Tomtom I was so frustrated unable to sync it...the software sucks. The polar a360 on the other hand synced within minutes and charged in less than 1hr. :) it took me 15 mints to figure out all the modes and working apps. I LOVE IT! I take it to the gym (cuircuit training, strenth training, swimming, indoor spinning, etc. I take it on walks, runs, hikes and pretty much everywhere!
Polar a360 pros:
Beautiful device, screen and display is colorful and clear. It's waterproof. It alerts me of inactivity, so I can get up and move around which I like because I can get caught up online. Shows me heart rate in training mode (not 100%acurate) but i can live with that. It gives me hear rate zones and calories burned. The app shows me clearly my activity through the day. The watch is simple and easy to use and at the same time very informative when in workout mode. Comfortable and subtle. Counts steps and tracks sleep. I don' t really sleep with it anymore after I learned my sleep patterns.
Cons: the band is not the best, but polar sells more bands to replace it when it's time, so I don't mind it. In fact in the future I will purchase pink and white bands. Does not have GPS.
Finally, I am so happy with it and already see results on my fitness levels and physically it's evident that this watch works for me. I also track intake calories through another app, so it would be nice if polar would integrate meals in the polar flow app!

My second try with a smart watch! I didn't like the fact that you have to load all of your activities onto your phone, the Fitbit does it for you, although I wasn't fond of that one, either!

The Polar A360 is an attractive, comfortable fitness band that does a great job focusing owners on fitness, but there are a few issues that keep me from giving it five stars.
Pros:
- Very comfortable to wear. I was previously wearing a Microsoft Band 2. While I love its functionality, it really wasn't very comfortable and had to be charged constantly.
- Stays charged for more than a week.
- Great display. Can be easily seen in a dark room or in bright sunlight.
- Seems to be accurate as far as step counting goes. Heart rate seems to vary from other heart rate devices I've used at the same time to test accuracy, but close.
- More stylish than a lot of trackers--skinnier than most, so I don't feel strange wearing it on one wrist and a watch on the other.
- The training function seems to work well.
Cons:
- Setup can be a pain. It comes set on a 24-hour clock (so that 8:10 p.m. reads 20:10). There is no way to change this either on the A360 or on the mobile device you have it linked to. You have to hook your A360 up to a computer, access the Polar Flow website, make the change there, and then sync. And there's nothing that tells you how to do this--I had to search for an answer on the web.
- You can't manually set your steps. You simply select what you think your activity level is, and it sets a goal level and tracks your progress by percentage of goal. I would rather be able to simply select how many steps I would like as my goal.
- It doesn't do continuous heart rate tracking, so you can't determine what your resting heart rate is. This is a plus and minus--a plus because not having it on all the time keeps from draining the battery, but a minus in functionality.
- The band is not that easy to get on and off. You must fit the prongs through a buckle, which takes some dexterity. However, so far it seems to be staying on securely.
Overall, I would recommend this product if continuous heart rate monitoring isn't something you're that concerned about.

There was no waterproof fitbit when I bought this; fitbit software is much better, to say the least.

I love this watch/fitness tracker, I own 3 other Polar watches and i love them, so I really wanted to upgrade, got this one as a gift... battery does last at least a week for me, using the work out mode at least 4 times a week, it looks super sleek and it's just beautiful, I've used it without pairing it with the chest strap before, and it seems to be pretty accurate (unlike the fancy fitbit my friend has, and it doesn't read her hart rate accurately ), I would definitely recommend it.

It works awesome and when paired with myfitnesspal really helps keeps me motivated. It does seem accurate to me, but the heart rate monitor takes a bit of time to catch up to your actual heart rate. To me this isn't a problem. You can pair it with an H7 chest strap if it is important in your training routine. I don't believe any wrist worn heart rate monitor is as accurate as a chest strap. Anyway, if you need motivation to get in shape and improve health, I highly recommend it, but a good app that tracks your progress is also very helpful.

My first heart rate monitors were all polar. However, last year I decided to get an activity tracker and switched to the original garmin vivosmart. When it broke I chose the upgraded VivoSmart HR. Unfortunately, the marsmallow update rendered the smart functions useless so I returned it for the A360. It is because I am judging it against the vivo that I am giving it a 3. What I like is that it allows multi sport tracking. has an optical HR scanner (however it does not track all day), is fairly easy to navigate. I like that it is waterproof and I can wear it in the pool. I also like the sale price, which made it just slightly more expensive than the vivo. The workout summaries are also nice.
What I miss is the continuous HR tracking that the vivosmart offers. The band on the 360 is soft and comfortable, but I worry about the tearing issue, others mentions. I have an android phone. While Polar flow will sync with myfitnesspal for IOS users, it does not do that for android. I also miss the ability to set step goals, and select my favorite screens on the activity tracker. Both, Polar flow and connect are good apps, but I prefer the features on connect where I could track flights of stairs and gear.
360 is very nice and it looks like I can block the alerts that I do not want to view. So far the Bluetooth seems stable, so I will keep it. However, if the compatibility issues are ever corrected with the LG3, I will probably go back to garmin.

It's been 2 months since I bought Polar A360 and I'm happy with my decision. I think the heart rate monitor is accurate and I like different work out options. Also it is nice that to be warned to move if I sit for over an hour. The band is comfortable and I wear it all day everyday. It rearly comes off unexpectedly.

I received these watches on my birthday from friends who purchased the same ones. I was happy to get them, but, when I started to use them, I realized after two weeks all disadvantages of them. 1. It is easy to loose them. The band is not strong enough to hold watches and they can slip off the band 2. Skin irritation from the band 3. They do not synchronize well with the iPhone. Very bad with updates through the phones as well. It is only works when watches are connected to the computer 4. Heart rate is not accurate especially with extensive workout. When hand is sweaty, heart rate does not read the pulse. 5. The battery life is maximum 3 days. And watches are new. What can happen in a year, I only need to guess. 6. They are not waterproofed as it is said in a manual. You cannot take a shower or swim. 7 Finally the customer service is below average. It is hard to contact with them or email to them. They always send emails back that it will be solved So I had to return them.

I love how this watch doesn't require the chest strap since it can track your heart rate from your wrist. It also tells you how many steps you have taken throughout the day, how many calories you have burned and more! I don't regret this purchase at all!

Tough Band to Close

I purchased this band today after my Microsoft Band 2 quit working properly...and unfortunately, this is going back tomorrow. I found it too hard to securely close the band and the band was "pinchy" on my wrist even though I bought a size larger than what I thought I needed. Too bad, I was really looking forward to this tracker.

I have a constant struggle to keep this band connected to my iPhone 6. It very easily comes unpaired. It is very difficult to pair again.
I have no problem pairing my Fitbit Jawbone Microsoft Garmin devices.
