This is my first neutral density filter I have ever used. Wanted to try one for blur of motion shots of water falls etc., did a bit of research online of different filters and found this one got some good and some bad reviews. found a lot of people were recommending high dollar filters. Now I have been enjoying learning photography in many different ways for a while now and I do agree you get what you pay for in many products but I also believe if you experiment enough with some products you can also obtain very good results. Having said that,one of the problems I noticed encountered with this filter from some was the so called X factor where an X was in the middle of a picture and some noted it was difficult to tell where the actual minimum and maximum settings were. The first thing I did after receiving this filter was to look thru it towards a bright light and rotate the ring to view the results. With mine It was easy to determine where those settings were. I did also notice that if I went past those points that the dreaded X started to appear. So at this point I am thinking problems have been from possible user error. Very pleased with the results I have gotten from this filter.Also found very helpful advice from another post to focus at minimum setting and then rotate ring to desired setting for exposure.Have not used long enough to rate durability but it seems to be solid and should hold up if cared for properly.

Love this product it works really good. It's really easy to use. It works really good when you want to take pictures of sunsets or sunrise.

Does an excellent job providing various lighting conditions. Very easy to use. Had to upsize from 58 mm to 62 mm to use UV filter.

This neutral density filter allows me to pick any level of density from 4 to 400 with a twist of the filter. I can take a shot, adjust the filter, take another shot, adjust, and so on, without ever changing the filter. This is great for my daytime time exposures. I'm buying a second one for my other zoom.

I love this neutral density filter. It has revolutionized the way I should video for my clients I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I love this little filter it works wonderfully and it cuts down on my editing after the fact. Only downside to it is it won't let me use both this and my lens hood togeather.
