I was relatively shocked by the sound from such a small size. It's not the greatest sounding bluetooth speaker but in comparison to some others I've had this one is pretty good. Battery life is decent. Might be a little over priced. Well done Polk.

So, this is a niche product, first off. It's a nice little speaker, of course, but it's going to be hard to sell due to it's nature. It's not advertised to be anything but a portable, clippable, speaker, that does get pretty loud (let's say 20m radius you can easily hear it). Of which, it delivers. No issues with connections via bluetooth, changing songs, etc. Just worked right out of the box. It should be a little cheaper, and you're somewhat paying for the name Polk here, but it is a good, well-crafted little device, to say the least. Four stars due to price and product area.

I had no idea you could have this much quality of sound in such a small speaker, goes ever where with you and has a great range. Amazing and wonderful. Hope to get these for the kids for the holdidays. This way they can listen to music with out headphones and still enjoy and listen for other things.

The speaker is an option for those wanting on-the-go Bluetooth access to music in a small footprint at an affordable price. When I first got the speaker I primarily used it for workouts, but the bulky feeling of having a speaker clipped to your shirt wasn't all that great. The sound quality of the speaker is mediocre. For its size it does pack a punch, but don't expect too much out of the sound.

The Polk Bit speaker is sporty and powerful. Just clip it onto your clothing or bag, pair it with your smartphone or tablet, and you're good to go. Easy hands-free "walking and talking" or listening to music. Or, use the Bit in place of your phone's speaker for conference calls, watching videos, or streaming music. The Bit charges using a USB outlet on your computer, car charger or phone charger. It has a weather-resistant case, making it good for casual athletes.

I was surprised how small the speaker was when I received it. It didn't take long to charge and pairing was easy. The sound was pretty good for such a tiny speaker. It's not real loud, as to be expected, so it's still a bit personal. Outside it's even quieter of course. This product is great for people who don't like headphones and still wants to keep their music/video sound from being shared to everyone around them.

A wearable speaker for running, biking, working out, walking or anything else you can think of. Listen to your favorite play list, take a conference call, whatever your audio needs are. Don't expect true high fidelity (although the bass is surprising) the size and inexpensive cost are limitations there but overall it's a fun wearable accessory that I didnt know I needed until I started using it.

When I saw the size of this bluetooth speaker, I really wasn't expecting too much from it. I knew it would be better than the speaker on my Galaxy S7, but I didn't know how much better it would be. I liked the idea of using this in my car, which is an older model that doesn't have bluetooth, aux port, or cassette (so no adapter). Since this speaker has a clip, I could put it on my seatbelt for hands-free calling (cheaper option than other bluetooth speakers designed for the car). The audio quality really is amazing for something this small. It won't replace my Bose Soundlink speaker, but nobody would ever expect it to. I love this speaker. Not only is audio quality great (for its size), but when used for phone calls, the other person says sound quality is great on their end as well.

This was easy to charge and connect to my phone to play music without having to put ear buds in. I like it for walking so I can still be aware of my surroundings. I was hoping to use it around the house while phone sat on charger and was in another room doing laundry or other activity but the blue tooth range was not strong enough but I still like it

This is a nice little speaker for doing tasks around the yard. It can clip onto your clothes and it's not too bulky. Wish it were just a little bit louder as it's tough to hear when clipped to a pocket on the waist. Took a second to figure I had to hold the + and - volume buttons to turn it on/off. Pairing was simple with my iPhone.

The sound quality is equal to larger, portable BT speakers. Makes a nice speaker phone for use @ home. At the price, it makes a Gr8 gift.

First thing first, the speaker on my iPhone 6s is just about as loud as this speaker. They both have about the same sound quality, but the "Bit" has slightly more bass. The controls are cumbersome. Holding buttons for 2 -3 seconds to go forward or back a song is just a bad design, and a pain IMO. A double tap would work much better. I tried to use this at my work, an automotive production plant, and I could barely hear the speaker. It worked good for clipping it to the neck of my shirt and doing chores around the house, but I could have just put my iPhone in my pocket and have about the same result. I would only recommend this is your are in an area where it is somewhat quiet to listen to this speaker.

I was looking for a solution to play music while I ride my bike. I don't like to use earbuds as I need to be able to hear sounds around me. I found my solution with the Polk Boom Bit. It's small (about the size of a car remote/fob) but it has very good sound quality for it's compact size. It connected immediately to my iPhone and I was off on my bike listening to my playlist. For the money, this is a great buy.

This speaker is nice to clip on to your clothes when doing a workout, going for a run or just doing chores around the house. It's only slightly louder than my cellphone speaker however.

The Polk Bit charged quickly and I had no trouble at all connecting with my phone. The sound is a bit tinny when playing music, but is fine for spoken word, podcasts, etc.

This is a nice compact portable speaker. The sound quality isn't all that impressive, I wasn't expecting it to be Bose sound quality but decent enough. The volume on my phone speaker is louder than the speaker so it doesn't work for me. I like the included USB built in for charging. The clip to hang it on clothes or anything you want, I wanted the volume to be louder for it to be useful to me.

I bought this speaker to use when I jog. I'm able to hear oncoming cars, bikers and people & still enjoy my music. The sound is clear and gets LOUD. The Bit is also super rugged and easy to use. I want one in every color!

I received the Polk Boom Bit speaker today. Charged it up. Connected it (which is extremely easy) and played some audio. It works and the sound is ok. Nothing to impressive. It's a personal speaker that you clip to your shirt collar. If there are other sounds that are loud they will overpower this speaker. It is very tiny. If you really want music, or a book while you do what it is that you do. I would suggest a pair of headphones. This speaker is more a gimmick and not worth your money.

I have started to rely on this little speaker for running, working in the yard and even hanging around the house. music sounds great without having to go super loud and podcasts are perfect. no issue with speaker phone either.
