I tend to be old school and like the sound of a larger speaker over that of a smaller one. That said, these little TSx 220B speakers rock! I'm pushing them with a Denon AVR-788 and the Polks have taken everything I've thrown at them with ease. As I mentioned earlier, I was a bit concerned about the small size, but these speakers show no sign of the typical small-speaker tightness and compression I was fearing. While the Polks will handle a fair amount of bass frequencies, my Denon's auto setup function didn't want to send it to them, sending all of the lows to the sub. After going into the sub menus and manually setting the crossover frequencies to send more lows to them, these little speakers really showed their stuff. I am a musician as well as a music fan and after a month or so of listening to various musical forms at various volume levels I'm totally happy with these speakers. And I love the Cherry finish.

Did a lot of research before buying and after purchasing can say it was money well spent. The speakers hit all the highs and mods like a tower would.. Larger bookshelf speakers, recommend using stands

Speaker works great, really good sound quality but they did not work for my theater set up, they were too big for my intended use as rear surrounds. Make sure to check dimensions on these before you buy them to verify they will fit your space.

I listened to all the speakers at Best Buy. The salesman was heavily pushing the Klipsch speakers. I grew up with Klipsch and was leaning toward buying them. There was one last set of speakers to listen to. He lined uo the Polk Audio speakers and was amazed. They were 150.00 cheaper than the Klipsch but the sound so much more crisp. The mids were full, the highs so clear but not "tinny". The bass was solid and able to be felt. For the money I have not heard better!

These speakers a great sounding in my room. I got them because of Polk's stellar reputation as a high quality, but not high prices speaker.

These sound very nice. They're not the best speakers I've ever owned, but they are pretty good for an inexpensive pair of speakers...

I can't believe there aren't any reviews for this yet! I upgraded from a pair of Polk T15's and needless to say, I was stunned. I went with the 6.5 inch instead of the 5 1/4 inch because they were on sale for only $30 more ($250 for the pair.) They look incredibly sleek, and they sound even better. And the bass is equally impressive. Everything sounds really tight and clear, but more importantly, accurate. and I haven't even finished breaking them in! I mostly use them for rock/metal and occasionally rap, and it's like the guitars and snares are really there when turned up loud. Everyone should hear these because I think they're going to end up surpassing everything else in this price range. Forget Bose. Forget Klipsch. The only way you're gonna beat these is by getting the tower versions or to spend three times as much!
