I will always the the original version of movies then the remake. It tone to the movie but the special effects could have been better

It is definitely better than I expected. Watched it with my kids, not too scary, but it had a few good parts. Enjoyed it with the family.

Movie Better than Expected and it is Definitely More Enjoyable in 3D. The 3D Works Especially Well in One Scene Towards the End

It's another most scarey movie and horror. Very nice to have to your collection. It keep you in action and in the moment of all time.

This was different then the original poltergeist movie, but I love how it went and showed the other side where the girl was at.

I'm not a huge horror movie fan, but I had a hard time not getting into this movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Good buy.

Not bad. Some parts were true to the original but overall the pacing was pretty weird and the character development was lacking. In the original, you could actually connect with the characters, in this one, not so much. All in all, worth watching but maybe not many repeat viewings.

I cannot find enough good 3-D movies, so when I find a remake of a classic horror movie in 3-D, it's going into my collection.

A decent remake of Poltergeist, but in my mind the original Spielberg filming techniques make for a scarier adventure.

Of course a remake will most likely never out do the original, so with that said it's not even close to the original but still had some good jump scenes. I'd give it a 6.5 on a 1-10 scale with 10 being great. Definitely worth the watch, but I would not set the bar high.

This is a pretty good remake, but it will never replace the original classic.

The only thing I don't like is when a 3D movie doesn't fit the screen. The black bars take away from the 3D effect.

If you want a good scary and thrilling movie. This remake will be to your liking. Updated version of the original movie.

Acting, script and scenes are not as good as the original but, it is still worth a watch for a modern horror movie.

I was partial to the original but my daughter wanted me to see this one. I am not disappointed that I chose to buy it.

Classic feel to this remake. Names changed to protect the innocent. Lol I like the classic scarry movie feel on this one.
