Adhesive is good and strong, if your dash is not straight left to right, meaning too many breaks this is not for you. But overall the product is good.

Posted .The friction mount is moldable, so no matter the shape of the dash, it should fit by simply bending the base to adjust to the contours of the dash. The dash should also be clean as dust and dirt can reduce the effectiveness of the anti-slip, anti-skid surface. -JPK

Unfortunately, this friction mount is no better. It slides all over the dashboard and falls off that instead. I intend to return it and also the cheap looking case that comes with it. This was the only choice I was given at Best Buy. I am not happy at all.
