A: Yes, this item is compatible with the Drive 50.
Q: how dose it mount to the dashboard
A: It rests on top of the dash and is bendable to conform to the curves in the dash. It has a rubbery surface on bottom which keeps it from slipping using friction and weight to hold it in place.
Q: What is weight of portable friction mount?
A: The portable friction mount weight is 1.5 pounds.
Q: Does it have Auto Map update.
A: This item is just a mount - does not include a Garmin Nuvi and hence does not need or come with any map updates.
Q: Will this dash mount work with the Garmin dash cam 35?
