It is really a lightweight product which fits on any surface and not sliding at all. Big 5

I am surprised at the how well the prodoct preforms. I have seen things like this but have never tried them and this one has exceeded my expectations. I did not even have to pruchase individually.

Upgraded Garmin to 5 inch model and this mount was in a package deal. Good buy and works nicely on dash. Is pliable and has enough stick on bottom to work effectively.

This mount is great! Won't move. Adjustes to different positions, you can fold the whole thing together and store it away in glove box. well worth the money.

Glad I purchased. Before my GPS mount would loose its suction and drop off my windshield. With this item its stable and stays in place without having to worry about damaging my unit. Very satisfied and would recommend to anyone. Very happy and pleased with my purchase.

I bought this mount to replace an older version. This version seems much more secure and does not slide on my dash.

This is a really good bundle for the price, it works well in keeping my gps protected and the dash mount is better than the windshield mount

I love everything about the case. I never use the mount though. :P I think it's kind of annoying. :P Although when I do use it, it's fine.

The suction cup mount that came with my Garmin kept failing and I would get into my truck with the GPS on the floor. This mount works great. It has not slide of the dash or bounced off. The case that comes with it is useless unless you have on of the mini models.

So far, I'm liking this product. Seems better to me than the suck cup/windshield mounts; which had the disadvantage of falling every once in a while. This mount is pretty stable and doesn't fall at all.

I have tried many kinds of holders for my gps over the years and this is the first to fully function with no problems!

I had tried a few other GPS holders but was having slippage issues. Garmin's portable friction mount has functioned a good deal better, as it seemingly contours itself to the space on top of the dashboard.

I was a little skeptical of whether it was worth the price. Turns out it was. Stays in place on my dash and I can position my Garmin so That I can see the screen clearly. The base is flexible so if your dash is uneven, you can make it conform to the shape.

Works well for an even flat dash, not so much with a dash that slopes. I don't like to add adhesive to the car interior so mounting wasn't an option. The rubber bottom does help, I just prefer the bean bag version garmin makes

I bought this mount as I didn't want to mess with suction cups (hard to place, falling, etc.). This one sits firmly on my dashboard right above my steering wheel where I feel it's so much easier to see that a windshield mount. So much easier to remove too, can't beat it.
