    PowerA makes excellent pro controllers. I prefer wireless for obvious reasons. These do not have rechargable batteries and take AAs.

    I bought this controller (two of them) as gifts for children. I can't say I've had first hand (literally) experience with them, but the children seem to love them. Given the price, the minor things it's missing (HD rumble), aren't missed by the kids. AA batteries are easy to replace too when the kids don't remember to charge the controller.
