As a console FPS gaming enthusiast, I spend a majority of my gaming time playing online multiplayer (Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Overwatch & Halo 5) and after using this controller for the past couple of weeks and owning the stock Xbox One wireless controller and a PDP controller, this is the one that I pick up every time when I play online. The primary criteria for a controller for me is how it compares to the excellent OEM XBox controller and does it offer an edge to my gameplay over the stock controller, and here is my take : DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY - The controller is about the same size is the OEM Xbox controller with the main gameplay buttons positioned are where you'd normally expect them to . Only the power & menu buttons are repositioned - The black ABS plastic is thick and feels strong, but it’s a bit more glossy than expected giving it a cheaper look and add to that the blinged out D-Pad & RT/LT Trigger buttons in gold - you've got a controller that is not the most pretty to look at - The controller handle grips are longer and thinner than the OEM Xbox controller and does feel different at first but once you get used to it, it feels ergonomic and does not put any undue pressure on your palms - In addition the handle grips and the rear of the controller are textured (lines in the front and a carbon fiber pattern on the rear) for a better grip - The LB/RB shoulder buttons are MUCH smaller than the OEM Xbox controller and does take getting used to while the RT/LT shoulder trigger buttons are shaped exactly like the OEM controller (see pics) - The reason why most of the 3rd party controllers on the market today are wired (with the sole exception of $170+ Scuff controllers) is because Xbox One uses a proprietary wireless protocol for their controllers which is probably very expensive to license, so its hard to be critical on this controller for being wired - Having said that the 9.8Ft nylon braided cord is PERMANENTLY attached at the controller end (as opposed to using a standard Micro USB) and there is a proprietary connector in between the USB-A that plugs into the console. Not good - Despite being lighter than the Xbox controller it still feels adequately weighted and balanced in your hands - You can swap the thumbsticks out to match your preference whether you like the stock xbox controller feel, taller wider or dome shaped thumbsticks - there's one for every preference. PERFORMANCE, TRIGGER LOCKS & CUSTOM BUTTONS - Since this controller is Windows compatible I used a program called 'Game Controller Tester' on the Windows 10 store to check the accuracy and performance of its analog sticks and they performed very well with full 100% motion in all directors with no random ghost movements or deadzones. I HIGHLY recommend you to try this app you to check controllers. - There are TWO (instead of four mentioned in the listing) programmable buttons at the back of the controller which allow you to duplicate or map the "A,B,X,Y" buttons , the "LB, RB" Shoulder triggers buttons to them - Programming the two buttons is simple and done on the controller itself without requiring any on-screen setup or software and are game independent - For example if you want to assign the Reload or the 'X' key to the rear-right button - You simply have to (1) Press the Program Button at the rear (2) Identify the button you want to map : In this case press the rear right button (3) Assign the Button you Want to Duplicate : In this case by pressing the "X" button and just like that the Reload or the (X) key is now duplicated to the Rear-Right button - The rear button positions are ideally placed behind the grips, are easily operated by your middle fingers and do offer an advantage in gameplay as you dont have to move your thumbs off the sticks to perform an assigned function like jump, crouch or reload. - However the real game changer here are the trigger locks, something I did not expect on an inexpensive controller, as they limit the motion of the RT/LT triggers right upto their actuation point and cutting their 'dead' zone by almost 75%. If you prefer high precision or semi-automatic weapons in your FPS games, then can get in significantly more number of shots faster than you would on a regular controller. The importance of that in a tense encounter with another player cannot be understated. - The impulse triggers and rumble motors feel just about the same intensity of the Xbox one controller THE GOOD - The trigger locks and the two programmable (not 4) buttons definitely give you an edge in competitive multiplayer as you are able to perform mapped actions without moving your thumbs and fire more shots quicker in a short time - The textured surfaces of the controller give it a firm grip, even if you have sweaty palms - The analog sticks perform well with full 100% deflection in all directions and no jitter or ghost movements (tested with the Windows Game Controller Tester App) - Reasonably priced for what it offers NOT SO GOOD - I feel that the controller does not look very pretty with its glossy plastic and blinged out D-Pad/triggers . However this does not affect its functionality - The small shoulder LB/RB buttons take some getting used to - The biggest peeve I have with this controller is the use of a permanently fixed cable with a proprietary connector in between. Why take away something that's universally used (Mirco USB & USB-A cables) where one could use custom length cables to suit their needs and replace it with a non-replaceable proprietary cable? - Other reviewers have pointed out that the swappable thumbstick caps can get loose if changed frequently, however I dont see myself changing them that often once I've locked in my preference FINAL THOUGHTS Overall the Power A fusion controller hits the right notes where it matters most: Sharp gameplay with its trigger locks and programmable buttons, accurate full-range motion of its analog sticks and an ergonomic grip. The issues that I pointed out like its glossy odd looking appearance, smaller shoulder buttons and a proprietary cable end up being minor annoyances rather than hindrances.

I've been interested in the XBox One Elite Controller since it was announced. I love extra customization in a controller. And extra buttons is even better. But I had heard that it can have hardware issues, so I looked elsewhere. This was what I found, so I bought it. At 1/3 of the price, I could handle it not being Wireless. The customization is pretty solid. I like the trigger locks. There are only 2 extra buttons, compared to the 4 on the Elite controller, but that's fine with me. The only reason I I gave 4 stars, instead of the full 5 is the controller shape/size. I can't tell if it's slightly smaller than the original controller, or if it's just the different shape, but it can get a bit uncomfortable after excessive use. Other than that, solid alternative to the Elite controller if you're on a budget.

This controller is the most poorly made controller I have ever bought my son. Thankfully this product does have a two-year warranty. I have used the warranty three times already this year. Bought this controller in December as a Christmas present. End of January the X button was no longer working. Contacted Power A customer care and it took another month to get a warranty replacement. In the meantime, I ran and got a cheap wired controller to hold my son over. Two months later, the left stick on the replacement controller did not work. Another warranty claim and another month wait produced yet ANOTHER controller that broke. This time it was the A button that broke. Power A sent a replacement in a week this time. Well, guess what? The right stick on this controller is now broken. I will be requesting a refund from Power A. Please avoid the headaches and do not buy this poorly made controller.

Originally purchased the Microsoft Elite controller, but returned it after learning about quality control issues such as the bumpers breaking due to being made of plastic or the sticks drifting, etc. After much reservations on 3rd party controllers, I bought this. I have been using it for Overwatch for the past two weeks and it works great. The buttons are nice and clicky, controller is very light, and the wire is super long, and the hair trigger options is great. BestBuy price matched with Amazon and I purchased the 2 year replacement plan for additional $8.99. I wouldn't waste my money on the Elite controller as its quality control is not great and it only comes with a 90 days warranty for a product that cost $150.

Works for what I use it for but the A button broke on my first controller and is starting to stick with the second controller so it is on the way to breaking but other than that I recommend it as long as you get the warranty with it.

This is a nice controller. It functions as expected. Feels good in hands and does not die in that big battle moment like our cordless 1s seam to do.

This isn't the XBox Elite controller, but you're also not going to pay $150 for it. It has two buttons on the back of the controller that act similarly to the Elite's paddles, allowing you to map specific buttons to them. It makes shooting and fighting games a completely new experience. Highly recommend it.

It was a very good control I wish they make does again so I can get me one again let me know if you guys have any in stock it would be good to get one in my hands for sure I like the way was custom and the bottoms in the back for better grip and control while you playing war games for sure one of the best controls ever play with.

The trigger locks are great, but the rest of quality is sketchy. I went through 2 of these within 3 months. The first had a dead left stick out of box and the second one lost headset connection a few months after use. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better controller.

Firstly, this controller is corded, it provides much improved sound than the standard Xbox One controller. Cord is braided nylon jacketed heavy duty stuff but does tend to kink. It works well. I haven't tried to configure extra buttons because I won't use them. Seems to be of reasonable quality but not quite as solid feeling as Microsoft controller. Was worth the price.

Well, it is good for the price I guess. The first Power A Fusion controller I had was way better except I had to get a replacement because the jack for my headphones and mic wasn't working right. The new model feels cheaply made and doesn't have nearly the features my first one did. I guess that is why it is half the price!

The PowerA Fusion Controller for XBOX One provides all the features of the Microsoft Elite XBOX Controller at considerably less cost. Great functionality, accuracy, and good build. It is a wired controller that comes with three sets of interchangeable thumbstick controllers and has gold accents. With this being stated it did not have the substantial feeling of the XBOX One Elite controller but again it costs considerably less. Another great and important aspect of this controller is its PC compatibility. I can use it interchangeably from XBOX One to PC gaming. A huge plus in my mind.

I have mixed feeling about this controller. If the buttons that are on the back are why you are considering this controller I understand, I did the same thing. However, this controller is very CHEAP and so it feels CHEAP. Everything is very "clicky" and harsh and uses some pretty cheap materials. These can get overlooked but where the problems really come in is when you try to enter chat. I had this controller for about 2 months. At first it was fine but as time went on my friends were mentioning that my voice was distorting. Eventually it started to give a piercing scream through their headsets. I of course was oblivious and thought it was funny. If you enjoy playing games competitively and have a tighter budget, get this. But if you enjoy playing games competitively WITH people then i would say pony up and get the elite controller (i switched to it and it really is that great)

I wanted an Elite, but didn't want to spend $150 on a controller. Picked this up for 35, the 2 extra programmable buttons on the back are enough for me and work well in games that require you to use the D pad while moving (looking at you Dying Light). Cord is long enough to reach my couch comfortably and the extra thumb sticks are all made really well. Haven't used the hair triggers though. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants an elite but only need 2 extra buttons. Saves ya about a hundred bucks.

This is a grear controller not as bulky as standard xbox one controllers extra buttons a nice feature when playing games

Comfortable controller, love the back buttons witch you can make any button you want. Changing the joy sticks is a nice touch as well to customize it. For the price you can't beat it.

Controller itself is great. My headset sometimes has echoes when using it with this controller. Otherwise, great controller.

I needed a controller for Neir on the pc. Works great for Street Fighter and Killer Instinct for the pc as well.

I was very excited to buy the Power A Fusion controller I'd read many good things about it and it lived up to all of it. Very well built and study, fits nicely in my large hands. I find it comparable to the Xbox Elite controller in many ways. For the price it's definitely the best for what it is.
