I'm hoping a standard controller would work better & last longer. They LOVE Mario themed items so I was so happy to see this available. So far, so good. It wasn't any more expensive than a non-themed device. Great value for a great product. It also came with batteries installed which was a bonus so they could play right away.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a nice controller, especially for the price. there's just a couple things it doesn't have which I didn't realize until after purchasing: it does not support motion controls, nor does it have a rumble/haptic feedback feature. it's also just a little bit too wide for my hands, but for most people it would probably be fine. overall, it is a decent controller and a good alternative to the default joy-cons.
