There's so much to do in this game and the missions are fairly difficult to beat. This is my first metal gear solid game and I adapted to the button configuration pretty quickly.

MGS V is finally here, and it was well worth the wait. With sprawling open missions, varied gameplay, and even MGS Online coming in October, this is a must buy for any collection.

I am about four to five hours into this game and it is fantastic. It is quite a bit different than previous Metal Gear games, but it is fun. Legit contender for game of the year.

When looking at the game of the year contenders, there's a reason this game is brought up so often. Packaged to the brim with enthralling content, this is well worth your time.

This game is great so far. There is so much you can do in this game and Afghanistan is huge. The horse you have is awesome and you can do a bunch of cool stuff on that as well.

I have never played a metal gear solid game before due to never owning a PlayStation. So I took a gamble and love it. You either can play stealthy or you can play all loud.

I love the new open world mechanics in this Metal Gear. Choosing your own path is great. Improves replayability. Also Kojima still knows how to entertain. Love this game

Very long, and very repetitive though. It is fun for a while. Gets boring pretty quick. Wish you got to watch cutscenes more often. Besides that, it's a very fun game.

Out of the games Ive played on the new gen systems.... This game gives you more than you paid. Ive played for more than 10 hours and still barely finished the story.

Before this MGS, Ive only played Sons of Liberty. This MGS is so fun and addicting. I recommend this game to anyone who has or hasn't been keeping up with the series.

I don't normally like stealth games but this one is totally awesome!! You can do stealth mode or run and gun! It gives you options! Best metal gear solid game ever!,

One of the best games ever definitely one of the best metal gear games. Favorite is probably still Metal Gear Solid but you get to ride a freaking horse in this one!

I got this because a few people I know had it and really liked it. They were not wrong. You can go through blasting or be all stealthy...either way it is a blast.

This game is absolutely amazing storyline may be lacking but gameplay is awesome... even though this game lags at times and constant updates its still a great game

the game. The Phantom Pain is an unusual Metal Gear experience, one that not everybody may enjoy if they cling to systems of old. If they’re willing to adapt and accept this new way of exploring Kojima’s world however, they are going to be blown away, absolutely, and one hundred percent guaranteed. This new open world is one that is begging to be played with, in whatever way a player wishes.

Excellent open world. Lots of missions to do with plenty of ways to complete them. A good point to jump in to the series if you have not played the previous games.

Sick of games only taking 20 hours to beat? There's enough gameplay here for at least a 100 hours. I haven't played a MGS since on the original playstation, but I was able to jump back into it. Lots of fun, however there is only a handful of missions that can get repetitive.

10/10 game. I got so excited that I stop playing to see all the videos about the previous MG games before continue playing. I definitively recommend this project.

This is a good game, yet I can't help but feel that if it wasn't labeled Metal Gear, it wouldn't be garnering all this praise. For me, many of the mechanics and scenarios felt repetitive after only a few missions. What's here is great, but I just don't see it as an A+ game.

For those who never have played a prior metal gear solid game--dont worry about it, i never have either. I really have enjoyed playing mgs5 tpp and recommend it.
