I've played all the Metal Gear games over the years and this one is probably my favorite. The graphics are unbelievable and the new gameplay options are fun. I do sometimes run into a glitch where the sound stutters and I can't control Snake for a few seconds. Not sure what it is, but I hope it gets resolved in a future update. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good game.

This game looks fantastic, there was a ton of hype and it sounded similar to Assasin's Creed, which I loved. Unfortunately, this game is about 10 times more difficult. The AI is overpowered. They notice everything! When there is a non-lethal option, I want to do that but the AI always finds me and I have to kill them or start over. I see why people would like the game but I don't like trying that hard.

From top to bottom, this game is amazing. The graphics, the story... everything!

I haven't really played a MGS game since 2. But after playing this it really wants me to go back and replay the others I missed out on. Story takes place in 80's Afghanistan and is the rise of big boss. Love that it's an open world game as well

I'm a huge fan of the metal gear series but skipped some of the last few and almost skipped this one. Personally im not the biggest fan of open world games. The stealth in an open world game makes every mission feel completely different and your options on whether to run or gun or take the slow and steady approach make each mission replayable! Going to be on this one for a while.

Top 3 game ever in my Opinion, had it for PlayStation, now have it for Xbox

This isn't your typical metal gear. Story takes a backseat to superb gameplay. Kojima focused less on the convoluted story the series is known for and more on opening up the playbook. You can go full stealth or guns blazing and still have a great time. This is truly just a fun game to play, even for those who have no prior experience with the franchise. Truly a GOTY contender!

While it may not have as much storyline to it as the previous titles, it makes up for it in gameplay. This game is every bit as good as you've heard, with massive flexibility to approach every mission any way you like. Don't just take my word for it, there are heaps of professional critics who feel the same. If you're a fan of stealth action, this game is a must.

I knew this game would be good Kojima is a great game designer but wow this game surpassed all my expectations. It has some of the best gameplay ive ever experienced and the graphics are better than I thought they would be since the game is on the old systems as well. Every gamer no matter your platform of choice needs to play this game at some point.

Good story line...great graphics...and fun to play!

The game play in this game is truly revolutionary, the fluidity of the movements is something I haven't seen in a game before. The engine in itself is amazing, Fox engine produces impressive visuals without sacrificing performance. Storywise, the game takes a turn for the disappointing after the first chapter. A bunch of pieced together chapter replays make this game feel like it was unfinished. Then the ending is just thrown at you. Besides the disappointment from the story you will get hours upon hours of game play from this game.

This is an amazing game, 60 hours in and still loving it. Don't worry if you have never played a game in the series or even haven't been a fan of the series. This game makes it easy to jump in and is completely different then the games before it while still rewarding players who have been dedicated to the series. Game of the year contender.

If you have played a Metal Gear Game before, you kind of expect to know what your getting into...that's the case with this entry, but everything is on another level!! The game is easily Game of the Year material and is just a blast to play....the level of detail and polish in this game is amazing! Definitely a recommended purchase....
