Great to use for playing games or watching Netflix and other programs we enjoy to watch. Easy to set up. Like the availabity of other accessories that can be purchased for family to use.

Purchased this for my son's birthday. He already had Minecraft in and ipad version but loves this one better. Better graphics, better method of play. No regrets to the purchase. Great buy!!!

Minecraft is all the rage for our 8 and 6 year olds -- both boys. They love the game & we bought it along with the Xbox One console for a fabulous Christmas gift from the parents! They love it!!

So this is minecraft and if you have not found a million other reviews for this game just know, this game can make you lose track of time and even enter a hibernation type state of being.

Wow, they even upgraded the graphics. Sure, it's still Minecraft blocky but everything is crisper that the 360 and the foggy distance views remind me of how well that was done in GTA V.

My kids are all about this game. Having purchased now for 2 systems they just cannot get enough of it. It also is nice they can focus on a game that is almost violence free. it helps them build creativity and problem-solving but is fun at the same time.

I don't know why. But all kids I know love this game and have spent so much time to play it. I tried once and never understand how to play. Lol, I'm too old to play this game I guess.

Especially if you have children or teens who you wish to keep busy for hours on end. It is an addicting game and even I have plunged into making and unmaking worlds of my imagination.

Bought this game for my son and he loves playing it on the big screen. He has it on his ipad, but wanted it for the console as well, and he enjoys it more than the mobile version.

With mild violence, I'm teaching my kids how to build houses and how things need to fit together (I grew up on Tetris by the way). It's a good learning tool when used properly.

My son plays this game as often as we allow him. He has actually learned things playing this game and some of the ideas are incorporated using mathematical skills. Excellent game.

My son had this game for his Xbox 360. When he received his Xbox one at Christmas, he asked if I would buy this game for him. I bought this game and he plays online with his friend.

Bought the 500 GB Xbox One and it has been great. Easy set up and the kids love it! Mindcraft is a classic for all ages and will be played for years to come.

Never played minecraft , always thought it's not for me, until I played it that is. Extremely addictive for all ages, and it has split screen, huge plus for the console version.

My 6 year old spends hours on this game and has begged to get it on xbox so he can enjoy the features the ipad version does not offer. it is amazing what he can create on here!

I have to start by saying that I don't exactly "get" the game. There doesn't seem to be a narrative or final objective. They just keep building stuff and then having it blown up by creepers. It seems to me that it's a video game take on Legos. The kids get to use their imaginations and build all kinds of things. My 15 year old and my 12 year old love it and play together without fighting....too much.

Picked this up because my daughter thought it looked neat she is 4 and loves to sit there and watch me play it on TV she cant get enough its fun for all ages and family friendly

I have two kids that love to play mind craft and it is so nice to be able to see them working together while playing the game.

I absolutely hate this game... but my kids live it, and when I am trying to get stuff done around the house and need them out of the way they play Minecraft... for hours!

Don't know how they are drawn in so much, but kids love this game and playing on the video console is a whole heck of a lot better than the tablet or laptop screen.
