Great Game if you have enjoyed previous installments you will like this one.

Disclaimer: I have not finished the main story so something AWESOME might happen that changes my opinion. I think the world is gorgeous, well developed, and simply fantastic. Geralt is one of my favorite RPG Protagonists of all time. His dry wit, gravely voice, and general badassery are something lesser characters should aspire to be like. Combat is fine once you learn the nuance; using the right abilities in the right situation(signs, oils, potions,etc) along with when to dodge/parry/roll can be rewarding when it all comes together and you feel like a true warrior. All that said, the moment to moment life in the world is rather dry. Fight some bandits, fight some monsters, rinse, repeat. I guess you could say that about basically any RPG, but the combat here isn't enough to excite me compared to games with deeper systems (Kingdoms of Amalur) or better companions/banter (Dragon Age). Its a fine game and if you're looking for an RPG to sink hours into, you could do a LOT worse. It earns 4 Stars on the gorgeous world and Geralt alone, otherwise it'd probably be a 3 in my book. Soild if a little dull.

Super cool game you can use magic and slash ur sword

It was a great game, but it got kind of repetitive after a while. Each interaction has carefully crafted dialogue, framing your basic RPG errand quests. Most of the time is spent running between places. Don't get me wrong, it's still worth playing, but I give it a 3 not a 4 because Witcher 2 was so much better than this.

There's a lot to explore here, pretty good value even without the expansion.

Now with the show out, I'm sure everyone wants to play this bad boy again or for the first time. Excellent game of the year for 2015

High Definition graphics and long, in depth game play, wonderful full immersion mapping and open world gaming. fantastic game!

The game is tough and unforgiving. But if you can manage to get the controls down it is a vast and immersive experience.

If you enjoy RPG's then this is definitely for you! Great graphics, good mechanics...it has it all!
