My son loved it...It help's in my opinion get ahead ...

A lot of guides are fairly useless, but this one actually has a lot of good information. It's very comprehensive, with just about every quest in the game. If you need a guide that will help you figure out the consequences of your choices, this is a good bet. My biggest complaint is that although almost all of the information you need is in the book, it can be hard to find it. The layout can be confusing, without a very logical order. The only other shortcoming is that it doesn't do a very good job of letting you know when missions expire. Still, it's a near-essential for a game this huge.

I tend to get the guides for these massive RPGs with sprawling worlds and tons of optional content to make sure I don't miss anything I would regret and the guide definitely helps with that but does suffer from some organizational issues like most guides. Of course much of this info is online but I am guessing if you're looking at the book it's because you want the book not an online guide! My biggest issues so far: 1) Some of the side quests are mixed in with the main quest walkthrough making it hard to know where to look for a specific one. I would rather they put all nearby sidequests in the main walkthrough or all of them in their own section, not a mix like it is. 2) I wish it was more obvious when there is content you can miss out on by progressing the story. It's often hidden away in a little box or paragraph - especially Gwent cards you can't purchase from a particular vendor later. I wish it were flagged in a very obvious way throughout the main quest walkthrough (like a "Before you move on" section that lists everything that will be no longer acquirable).

Has a lot of insight to the game. Really good detail on monsters and potions. The only thing I wish they did was organize their main quests and secondary quests better. Having trouble finding secondary quests I'm working on

This guide does a very good job of covering a very large and complex game. I've found the atlas section especially helpful; there's a lot in the game you'd otherwise just have to more or less stumble across by luck. There's not much that isn't covered in this guide. Once or twice I've wished they'd included the recommended level for quests, but that's about it. Overall it's a really well put together guide and I've been happy to have it as a reference.

This is not a game that you get "stuck" on. I am not done with the game, but if I got stuck, I would just lookup online. However, this guide is organized very well, with a list of all quest names up front, color coded to note if main quest, side quest, treasure hunts, etc. That's the first benefit. Second benefit is as a reference and just lots of cool info on the world, NPCs, lore, and a more comprehensive breakdown of all the little things like skills, alchemy, bestiary, etc. But, for the me the best part of guide is to use as a reference AFTER I have completed a quest. This has resulted in me loading an old save game in one instance. There are several instances where you are given choices on how you approach a situation. It is not an issue of completing a quest, but the outcome can vary based on the choices you make that impact later parts of the story. In one case I did not like how something played out and I wondered if I had done something wrong. I looked up and reverted to an old save game. There is no wrong or right. A non-spoiler comparison might be how different players take a particular FPS in a guns blazing vs. stealth approach. However, the outcome can carry over to later part of the game. Very good guide, and only criticism might be that some of the illustrations are a little small and difficult to see.

I would recommend getting this strategy guide, I usually don't purchase but this game is intense with content and info and without you will be lost great game though!

Lots of information available in this book, especially if you are not familiar w/ the Witcher series. Highly recommended.

With a world this big, you're gonna need some help in The Witcher 3. This is a very helpful guide, making you aware of what you need to do and things not to miss. This will be especially helpful with achievement hunting (such as collecting all of the Gwent cards). Very similarly to Skyrim, the lore of The Witcher 3 is very thorough and dense, and this guide can help spell things out easier for the beginners. If you plan on spending a lot of time in this game, this is a must own.

Its been a pretty good guide. The layout could be better but its difficult to sequence an open world game.

I would highly recommend this game to any one that is a fan of open world slash role playing games. This is one of the biggest games I have ever playeed as far as time it's going to take to beat it I have 72 hours in the game right now and still a long ways to go. Overall 5 out of 5

Purchasing game guides for video games is not always wisest choice for ones money however in the witcher 3 it's an absolute must in order to platinum trophy the achievement. With a game that takes 60 plus hours. Get it

Shows you the consequences of the choices you make and the impact on the fate of the different characters. Guides you thru most of the quests. There are some treasure hunts that are not included.

This guide is pretty good at detailing the info you need. I just wish the secondary quests were listed in the main walkthrough section instead of flipping through 100 pages to get to the the secondary quests.

I was never a an of game guides but with a game like this it is worth getting. Also helps a lot with the story if you arent familiar with the first 2 games in the series

Usually I don't buy game guides. But I wanted to get the most out of this game, because there are Alot of decisions that influence the outcome. Glad I got it

A must if you want to find all the goodies and not miss any of the great story line. A real help in developing your weapons and character.

The guide gives you almost everything but I have come across where it only follows one specific mission walk through. Multiple missions in different decisions and it gives you one of the paths.

Guide has a bunch of detailed information on everything you need. Main quests, side quests, maps and others are all included.

The book is 2 inches thick but extremely helpful. If you are unfamiliar with the genre it may be very helpful to you
