If you buy electronics, you need extended warranty and protection plans. Nothing is built to last anymore. I always have loved the Geek Squad protection for all products and I am disappointed that Apple will not allow it anymore for its products. But, Apple's warranty is better than nothing at all.

Always purchase AppleCare with new device. Always there when you need a little help. Pricey but well worth it. For product support forget Squaretrade. They will help with a repair but know zero about anything geeky.

Had to exchange the Apple TV 4th generation had restore default settings screen stuck day after purchase just exchanged very high tech with Siri so highly recommend Apple pro care plan just in case
