Easy to operate. Like any r/c vehicle it has a long charge time compared to it's short run time. Has held up good with a couple of run in with trees and falling from about 20 to 40 foot up. Does not work well if there is any wind, the tail rotor is not powerful enough for control. Overall is a fun but tough toy. Can't beat it for the price.

My 9 y.o. Son and I have been flying R C Helicopters for over two years. Usually after the second or third flight we will have a crash landing and prior helicopters become non functional. Most of previous crashes were a result of sudden loss of all power, when helicopter becomes out of controller range. This tough copter 6812-9u flies higher and farther without losing power. After 12 flights it is as good as new, only crash landed once with no significant damage. Holds a charge for 8 minutes flying time and resists wind crashes by a slow landing.

Got this for my sons bday as gift. He loves it and as he was learning how to control it, i get to show him and enjoyed it as well. Excellent toy rc helicopter, took us some time to learn. Heli has rechargeable batt built in, remote needs 4 AA. Rechargeable batt gets drain quick about 15-20mins play time. Overall good not great.

Helicopter is fun but after charging it only flies for a few minutes. Too short flight time.

This heli works great. It responds well to the remote. It definitely takes some getting used to, especially if there is any breeze at all. My only complaint is that I wish it flew longer on a charge. I'm only getting 5-7 minutes of practical flying per charge.

This is a pretty decent copter for the money. Cons: very loud, beginner and advanced mode button on remote need a way such as a light to let you know which mode you are in. Pros: very easy to fly, very powerful with very good lift (I added a camera to bottom and it didnt affect flight at all, very forgiving, tough built and takes beginner hits well.

This product seems to be more durable than the other remote controlled helicopter and airplanes we've brought for our kids over the years. It also has a great remote controller which is easy to maneuver.

When flying the copter my boyfriend couldn't get the copter to come back to him it kept flying off and he couldn't get it to shut off for the copter to come back. So he lost the copter somewhere .

I bought this for my kid and we were excited to fly it. When we pulled it out of the box it said it needed to charge for an hour and a half! After that we flew it and it flew for about 5 minutes before it couldn't get higher than about 4 inches off the ground. Battery dying. charged it for another hour and a half and the battery lasted about 6 minutes. Fun but ridiculously long charging times. My son doesn't notice as much as I do so it's not all that bad for us. :-)

This is really fun to fly and would recommend everyone try one at least once. With 2 speeds this works in both small areas and large garages or warehouses. Pretty tough little bird, But. Landing gear snapped not so long after purchase. Superglued it and good as new. Battery life is average for small copters. One day they will put better batteries in these things, But not today!

I bought this about a year ago when Best Buy was still Future Shop in my little city. I used it several times in 2015 with no major issues except the extended charge time. I dug it out yesterday and plugged it in to use today. When I tried to use it today 01/04/16, it would not even get into the air. I guess that this is Best Buys April Fools joke. I can not return it as it is out of warranty now having been bought at Xmas 2014. I have also been told that there is no replacement Battery but I am a tinkerer. I will find one!

If you have a large amount of space or can manage to fly it on a nice, windless day, this copter is great. If not, it's too big to fly in the house for too much. I like that it feels very well built. Great for large, open spaces with minimal wind.

Bought this for a Christmas gift and the person loved it. More durable than some we have tried in the past!

Understanding that the more you pay, the better product you get, this copter was demotivating. It took more time to drive to/from a big grassy area to fly the copter, than the copter had life to fly. We are beginners and unfortunately my son hasn't asked to take the copter out again, since our initial attempt.

to think so much joy from a helicopter. wish it would last longer in flight.

My 9 year old has flown this helicopter a dozen times. It is very durable!

I actually bought this for my boyfriend and myself. We're in our 40's and had so much fun with this. It is made very well. I believe it says it is for 12 or 14 years and up, but I think younger kids would be able to maneuver it.

I need a lot of practice. Its very sensitive. Still working on it.
