I bought this for Christmas because I wanted to try a drone and the price was good. It's great to learn on but I've since ordered a bigger and better one. I need one with the return home feature and the front facing it always forward one. Makes it easier as I've almost lost this one a couple of times. But very fun to fly.

This is an amazing drone WITH a camera and is easy to use and learn. It's a great looking drone!

I bought this as a Christmas gift. My husband loves it, but it's extremely fragile. The landing gear keeps breaking off. We finally had to glue it on, because the pegs that are supposed to hold it on have snapped off. This won't last long as a fix. And to make matters worse, we can't access the camera via USB.

This drone looks great out of the box...but the camera wouldn't work and you only get about 5-12 minutes of flight time with a 1 hour charge. About the time you get it flying it needs to be charged again.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 18 year old son. The SD card would not lock into place in the first one, I returned it and got another. It's fun to fly, a little hard to control. If you realize that for the price you are getting basically a toy that flies, you won't be disappointed.

Bought to prepare for a larger drone. Easy to fly, very responsive except in windy areas. However, flying the the Video Drone Quadcopter made flying my larger drone much easier. Would recommend to all beginners like myself. Customer support is excellent.

I bought this thinking I'd learn how to fly a cheaper model before investing more money. Only 5 min of flight time after an hour of charging and could never get it off the ground. It kept skipping one way or the other no matter how much fine tuning I did on it. Mostly flipped, so never even used the camera, but discovered that you can't hook up to it anyway to see what you're taking pics of. Battery box wouldn't stay shut. Tried for 1 week to work with it and gave up and took it back. Will just spend a little more money after reading the reviews next time.

Well this is a case of you get what you pay for. This was lost on its first flight... Lost control and it went behind some trees and was lost forever. No way to make it beep or flash lights or anything to find it. No come home feature if you lose control nothing. Yes it is true I can't fly for *** but there should be some way to find it when control is lost and it crashes somewhere. I gave it at least two because it did operate right out of the box. The control did feel very cheap but it worked for the 4 minutes I got to play with it. My suggestion is if you are going to get a drone... get a good one with more options.

I expected a little bit more from this quad. The battery life only about five minutes and is difficult to control when in-flight the controller extremely sensitive

This drone is easy to operate and fun to use. It's substantial enough to handle a few crash landings. Makes a nice starter gift.

Easy to learn to fly and control,only down side is a seven minute flight time, fun to fly.

No control on up/down. No matter what adjustments made per manual it will not hover and it just takes off straight or sideways no matter what controls are used

I bought this for a family member in Brazil. He recorded some video of his flights on Facebook. Cool.

Too small for the price, fly time is iffy and the camera isn't good

The protocol drone is a great beginners drone for someone who wants to learn to fly one without spending to much for one I would recommend it

Drone was difficult to steer. Never got it to hover. Instruction both written & online are almost nonexistent.

its cute and small,takes good pictures for the size and price of this unit. Because of its size when taken outside if there is much wind its too light to control.

We purchased this knowing that it wasn’t the highest quality but we’re hoping it was a bit better than it actually was. Still a lot of fun though

This device was smaller than I expected and the battery takes 60 minutes to charge for 6 minutes of flight time.
