I gave this drone to my 12yr old grandson. He was delighted, and sent me photos the next day from the drone flying high over an industrial park. I was impressed that it was so easy for him to set up and fly. Not sure how well it will hold up in the long run, but out of the box - it was a winner.

I bought this as a gift for my husband on our 1 year anniversary. He uses it a lot, lol. He loves how easy it is to fly and that it takes video and pics while doing so. Remember that it's camera is not as clear as a smartphone but it's the memories that matter. The video is in color and people are recognizable in it. Also it is easy to connect to a laptop computer to retrieve the pics and videos. The drone itself is durable. My husband has hit a few tiny tree branches and it has not broken. The box gives you extra parts in case anything breaks. Remember to let the battery cool down before you charge it again for 1 full hour. Definitely read the instructions to learn how to calibrate it. The size of the drone is just right. Oh, and it has lights which really help to know which way is front and back. Happy flying!

I bought this to support a school science club so I could be more knowledgeable and better prepared. It fulfilled the need. Easy to fly, first-time jr high students flew it easily. I didn't research well enough; I thought I could get real-time video, but instead it stores images and video on a chip to be viewed later. If I could do it over, I'd spend less for one without video, or more for first-person video. I bought extra batteries from Protocol (you get a 25% discount coupon), because 7-8 min of battery life goes by pretty quick.

Nice cheap drone to start with, battery run time is very short, but enough time to get pics and video and to get the hang of flying, watch pets around it my dogs want to kill it lol

I bought this as a Christmas gift for one of my grandchildren. It was out of the box and in the air as soon as it was charged; couldn't wait until after Christmas dinner. Although this wasn't on the Christmas gift list, it was a hit with him...and his cousins. They went out in the dark to use it and the video provided some great pictures of the neighbors decorations. Easy to use with a reasonable price for someone wanting to explore their interest in drones. I'm thinking of great one for myself.

I had originally bought a less expensive model and returned it immediately and got this one instead. This model is easy to control and has different settings. Most importantly, it is sturdy and can resist being accidentally dropped or crashing into a wall. Once they figure out how to extend the battery life, then it would be a five star product.

Bought for my 13yr old son. He loves it. Takes cool pictures and videos. We use it while camping all the time.

Small drone, decent camera. Easy to learn, limited flight time

I purchased this drone for my 12 year old daughter. The first few times we flew it were a disaster, but if you read the instructions and do the 3 steps necessary to auto calibrate, this drone is awesome. The control is easy and the video is better quality then I was expecting. Overall a great drone for 50 bucks.

For a begginer this is the perfect drone. Especially in learning how to operate the controls.

I got this as a xmas gift for my son. Smaller then I expected but worth the price. Was a little tricky to get started. Had to watch a youtube video to sync with the controller. But after that it was allot of fun. Only downside is short battery life.. you'll need to order some extras.

This drone is a nice one for beginners, with a good price. As usual in the majority of these devices, the battery lasts only a few minutes, which is frustrating. Need to look for additional ones to purchase and have more time for flight without interruptions.

I love this drone because it's very easy to fly right out of the box. My only complaint is that you can't fly it when it a little windy outside. It's small and light so the wind can carry it away and you can't get it to come back to ya.

I've been researching drones and decided to put my toe in the water and try this one. For $50 why not? If we could get some use, and practice/experience before shelling out for a Phantom 3 4K... FLYING I was able to fly it and hover fairly well outside - until the slightest breeze came up. Whoa! Impossible to control. I flew indoors OK - it is touchy and I crashed several times - none damaging the copter. The design is good and the plastic seems tough. CAMERA I took some video and some photos (got the neighbor's house, not mine! It takes practice to know which end is forward) The quality is decent but not great. You are limited to where the drone is pointing so no straight-down, etc. Videos are .avi - meh! Photos are .jpg MANUAL/SETUP Poor, poor, poor. Right from the start things aren't clear. The removable battery (A big plus cuz you can order extras for $10 and charging cables for $5) has to be charged using the included special cable plugged into your USB charging port - 1 hour of charge for 7 minutes of flight. There is NO MENTION of the "Calibrate" button other than illustrating the button. Thank goodness for YouTube videos! I thought two of the "trim" buttons were broken. There's a tiny "update" to the manual (lost in the bottom of the box) explaining that they're no longer needed. I beg to differ! Never could get the thing "trimmed" so it would hover reasonably without watching it like a hawk (or hummingbird). And apparently every time you calibrate it resets and trim adjustments. BOTTOM LINE Hard to fly, limited abilities and lousy camera. I'm afraid this will be returned and I'll be $50 closer to the drone of my dreams!

Bought this for my daughter who is 11 years old and she loves it. She finds it easy to use.

Purchased as Christmas gift for 12 year old son. Flies quite fast. He figured out how to fly it immediately. However, it only has 7 minutes flight time; 1 hour charging time. Pics are now high-def, but ok for beginner.

I bought this for our daughter. She loves it and the camera works well but it is tough to fly if it is a little windy out. It sometimes takes off on it's own in a direction. But other than that it works well.

I purchased this for my nephew, for Christmas. He had seen my father and I fly the DJI drone we have, and always wanted to try. Due to the expense of that, he did not get to at 9-years old. I purchased this for him so he could fly his own. I will have to say I was shocked at the size! It's so small, and cost so much money. I was less than impressed with the battery life. Less than 10-minuites. It doesn't charge with an internal port, you have to remove a battery that's behind a fragile door. Save your money and get a full size drone. This would be a great starter drone if it was about $30, but it's not worth much more than that in my opinion.
