Of course, everyone knows Lorde due to the hit song "Royals" which received major radio play. However, Lorde is so much more than just "Royals." I luckily listened to the rest of this album live before I purchased the CD - Lorde was on tour and I snagged some super super cheap last minute tickets to her show. The music and lyrics were very intriguing, with several of them becoming an instant "earworm." Lorde certainly has a special vocal ability. Buy this album!!!

It is hard to believe that Lorde is only a teenager from New Zealand. She wrote Royals about the Kansas City Royals when she watched a video about George Brett. When he found out, the signed a jersey for her and she said that she might become a baseball fan.

Lorde's first cd lives up to its hype. I walked in with the intention of buying a different cd, but couldn't resist picking hers up instead. Some songs are haunting, some are mood lifting, all are lyrically pleasing. Worth listening to over and over!

I bought this cd for a great deal during a black friday sale and it hasn't left my car since I purchased it. It's become a mainstream music staple with an underground/alternative feel. Love Lorde and what she is doing in the music industry.

I herd all the hype about Lorde for some time.Chose to get up an pay a friendly visit to my favorite Best Buy on Union Square,NYC.I was able to find her album.So as soon as i got home decided to play all her tracks.So far she is one of the most interesting artists out there.Go out an buy it.

Not reviewing the songs themselves, because everyone has different tastes, but I will say that this CD sounds great in my car. Crisp highs with very punchy bass. Makes me want to listen to it LOUD!

Bought the soundtrack based on a couple of songs I had heard on the radio. Now, this CD is on my list of "regularly listened to" CDs. Great beat with bass tunes that makes you want to dance..

Got hooked on Royals and Team and have come to like most of this cd. Great new artist with a catchy beat and easy to learn lyrics. Actual sound is very good on this recording as well.

I got the cd for my wife for mothers day, and hearing a few songs on the radio I figured it would be good. When we listened to it I realized how good it really was.

I am not a music connoisseur and purchased this CD for the song "Royals." I found 8 of the 9 remaining tracks were very well done making this a great buy.

Music is solid albeit a bit Poppy at times ( No pun Intended). A definite child of the internet modern age and she lets us know it. Definitely a fan of one of the more original artists to break through in a long time.

I picked this album up for my girlfriend, I myself am not a fan of Lorde(nothing against her by any means) but she really seems to love this cd.

Truly enjoy her style, voice and think just about everyone can relate to one song or another. Not, just a young thing.

She reminds me of Bowie during the late 70s, not to everyone's tastes but for the people it hits, this is one to watch

Lorde brings a refreshing voice and style to pop music. This album is filled with fantastic songs.

Husband got it for me as a gift and have yet to listen to it yet but i know the main song i will like on it
