This little beast is amazing. I got it to do my google smart home stuff and i also built a cool retro console with the 2nd one i bought. Currently not much support with retro emulation but its coming. I also 3d printed some cool cases for it and it runs super cool with the 40mm fan. I highly suggest ome of these if yoir into simple programming and building fun stuff.

The board functions fantastically. The only limit is your imagination on what you want to program it to do. From beginner to expert this board will serve your needs with a very sleek form factor (about the size of a wallet) and plenty of accessory slots (usb / mini hdmi). The only thing I would recommend right out of the box is buying a small fan if you plan on closing this inside a case or not well ventilated fixture as it can generate a good amount of heat.

I enjoyed experimenting with this computer! The kit on sale was super affordable. There are three heatsinks and they fit good on the CPU, RAM, and PCIe to USB just fine. The included power supply has plenty of headroom for overclocking with a steady 5.1V at 3.5A. Keep in mind that you need to provide your own micro HDMI cable, microSD card, and a case with a fan for extra performance. Overall, a great kit for its sale price, and I enjoyed its capabilities very much.

Great board for various projects and not too bad as computer for surfing the Web and streaming music or videos. The kit does include a great power supply with enough amps to run the board and some devices. This kit does NOT include a microSD or a microHDMI cable- if you don't have these you need a microSD to get this going and the microHDMI will let you hook it to a monitor or TV. You may already have a USB keyboard and mouse you can borrow and use with the Pi4.

    Slightly Expensive Pi-Hole

Bought specifically to utilize as a pi-hole for home network. Preferred over a Pi Zero due to HDMI connections, gigabit networking and LPDDR4 RAM. In my case, the 2GB model works great since I don't need 4GB RAM to do all that I plan with it. Having that gigabit networking built in means less troubleshooting and near zero latency while working itself as the local DNS server for advertisements.

Tiny, low power machine easy to build into a working (almost desktop quality) computer. Great little board that I used to convert an old 4k tv into a nice wireless (almost) work station. Amazing amount of free software for coding and learning available for this board. A small amount of stutter (dropped frames) when watching 4k YouTube but for the amount of power it pulls, very impressed. Based on research, the included heat sinks are not fully able to dissipate heat when under heavy load so there is a little throttling. Plan to upgrade heat sinks in hopes to improve performance. The version with 4 or 8 GB memory may be worth the extra money. I used Ubuntu on a work station to build the system.

Using a pi 4 with 2GB for an open media vault server, smb, sonarr, radarr, nzbget, etc. Have a 6TB USB 3 external drive plugged in for network storage. Runs great for this purpose.

I'm an experienced RaspberryPi3 user and familiar with its design and use. I ordered a case separately that was awkward to use but simple and powerful enough to keep the Pi safe. The use of microHDMI worried me for setup, but searching for headless install was easy and allowed me to find it readily on my home network. It's fast and powerful and I will buy more!

This raspberry pi board works exactly as described. It is faster than my previous 3B model. This rpi4 board is not doing much at the moment, I bought it as a backup my older rpi board. I have powered it up once, checked that most peripherals work, for example hdmi, ethernet, audio jack, and the usb ports. Note: This only comes with the board. In order to make this board work you will need to get a power supply, a micro sd card, and a display to hdmi adapter. Luckily I already have those form previous kits.

I have been using RPi from its first release. Over time I have built local servers (media, file) using them. I wanted to upgrade a NAS from a model B & this was a powerful upgrade. Although this is a 2GB model that suffices my needs, you might want to consider larger DDR size if you want to use it as a desktop, Much recommended upgrade than even a RPI3(which I have it as well)

I'm very happy with my Raspberry Pi 4, and am just getting things moved over to it so that I can re-purpose my 3b. What I completely overlooked was that I needed to buy a separate mini-HDMI cable (I bought the 2-pack from canakit) because it didn't include it, and it doesn't take full-size HDMI like the 3b did. Great performance, very speedy, and a lot of flexibility!

This is the second Raspberry Pi I have purchased. I also have a 4 gig I am using as a second desktop and CCTV hub. I used this one to put into an old NES to make a retro gaming console. It works great and allows me to play many old school games. I was even able to hook up the old NES controller ports so I can use NES controllers to play games.

So I'm not sure you can have too many of these things. So this one is specifically being used as a Pi Hole server to block annoying internet ad. Quick and easy to set up. Powerful enough to use as an every day computer for web surfing, checking email, watching streaming video (4GB RAM version only).

I've worked with Ardunio IoT boards before and this little wonder is so much more amazing. I'm going to be replacing my Arduino which is a pain to update without a PC connected to it, as it monitors my basement Sump Pump and alerts me to potential problems before any basement flooding occurs. I can add more alert types easily with this board. This unit has base support for SSH, VNC and Remote Desktop, just to name a few! I can run this headless from start to finish. I've tried the dual 4K HDMI ports and it works flawlessly. I've run KODI applications with 1080p movies and it is amazingly fast. I was so impressed, I bought a second one a week later.

This is a great deal, especially when you consider that a power supply and several heat sinks are included, which are not included normally. The product is very good, but I would advise getting a very good thermal case for it, since it runs very hot.

I use this to run OctoPi to monitor my 3D printer via USB and a webcam hooked to it via USB. The setup is fairly easy, however this unit gets extremely hot after some use, and I had to add heatsinks and a small fan to the system in order to keep it cool. There are some other things I may want to try with it, but so far its been stable and working great.

Just a word of warning. If you're looking to purchase this, I would suggest you add the micro-hdmi if you're planning to plug this into the TV. The USB-C is the intended power supply and don't double as USB-C output. You'll have two micro-HDMI for this.
