Design and build a working computer with this Raspberry Pi 4 kit. The CanaKit USB-C power supply and included heat sinks allow for dependable performance and cooler operating levels, while the 64-bit quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM make it easy run a range of applications. This Raspberry Pi 4 kit comes with Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.0 technology for reliable connectivity.
Q: Is this the new revision (v1.2) of the board that fixed the USB-C power issues?
A: Just received one today (29 April 2020) and it is the old defective board.
Q: These have dropped to $35 price point, will you sell it at that price?
A: The $35 price is for a 1GB version and just the Pi4. This kit is the 2GB and includes a 3.5 amp power supply and heat sinks.
Q: How many amps is the included power supply?
A: The CanaKit includes a 5 volt 3.5 amp power supply. This does need it.
Q: Does it have a Spot for a SD card ?
A: The Raspberry Pi boards need a microSD and there is a slot on the bottom for it.
A: The heat sinks are not pre-attached onto the ICs, but it is an easy process to attach then. Tape is already attached to the heat sinks, so it is just a matter of removing the covering from the tape and pressing the heat sink onto the proper IC. I did double-check a picture online to make sure I had them attached to the proper ICs. And once attached they are not very high, so I think they would fit most normal cases.
Q: Does it come with an OS out of the box such as Android or Linux or Windows?
A: It does not come with an OS or an SD card, you need to add it yourself. But there are many places you can download a Linux OS for the PI, depending on what you are using it for. Windows does not run on a PI.
Q: Is the 4GB version available?
A: It is available but dont think they have it being hard to come by
A: 1 year warranty for parts and labor
