The heat sinks are not pre-attached onto the ICs, but it is an easy process to attach then. Tape is already attached to the heat sinks, so it is just a matter of removing the covering from the tape and pressing the heat sink onto the proper IC. I did double-check a picture online to make sure I had them attached to the proper ICs. And once attached they are not very high, so I think they would fit most normal cases.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The heat sinks are just backed with a sticky type backing. You can put them in or remove them so you can easily replace them with a fan if desired.
