Problem is I bought these for dog walk content in MN and apparently cold kills these. And this is mild winter temps. Meta estimates up to 4hrs battery life and gave example of 100 videos + syncing as what to expect. My real life results: Walk 1: 34°f, sunny. 23 videos and a 1min test live stream. Got a 2% battery warning around 40 min into walk so i stopped using for rest of walk. Walk 2: 27°f, night, 13 videos (8.5min of footage) before dying over a 30min span. I was recording a clip of the battery life being bad and as if on cue it dropped from 42% to 2% live while recording lol. If you create outdoor winter content, these won't be worth it. Imagine actual MN temps at under 0° -- theyd probably just turn off. Separately Meta AI is not good, you cant look up sports scores or other real time info.

As someone who survived a major brain injury and lives with aphasia and a cognitive disorder, I truly appreciated the way he went above and beyond to help me understand how to use the Ray-Ban Meta glasses. I’m grateful he was assigned to my appointment. This world needs more people like him.
